"If you're headed to Lake Erie to fish or ride roller coasters, this place is awesome! They have a beautiful beach, it's relaxing, you can build a fire in 1 of their fire pits! Fantastic! Have stayed 3 different times now, love it!"

"We had such an excellent time! The full size fridge was a great surprise! The private beach was beautiful! Eagles nesting near was an added bonus. Past reviews complained about the lack of coffee makers & no hot water. Both claims untrue. Service was excellent. We will definitely be back! ❤️"

"We loved this place! Hassle-free, very private beach. We enjoyed playing in the gentle waves, and the sunset was AMAZING! We stayed in room 5 and found it very comfortable - nice fridge and microwave, even a coffee pot! I did call management once because we thought there was no hot water. But you just had to let the shower run for a bit. Easy communication, very laid-back atmosphere. I think my favorite vacation ever because everything was so easy and relaxing. We definitely want to book this place again! A+"

"This motel is in a good location and does have good beach access, however, the day we were there the entire day we could not use the beach access that we paid good money for because they were pouring concrete the entire day. I wish they would have notified me of that so we could have made arrangements to stay elsewhere. We stayed in room 5, upon entering it does have a strong odor of mold or mildew. There is a nice size refrigerator and microwave but no coffee pot or hair dryer. They supplied lots of towels and bar soap but no shampoo. There were no batteries in the remote control (we went to Dollar General and bought some). I'm not sure if hot water ever comes out of the sink but it takes a while for it to get hot in the shower. The rooms are average (definitely a much older motel). The air conditioner did a good job of cooling the room but you can hear it dripping on the concrete all night. There is also a train with a loud whistle that goes by several times a night. We paid $284.38 to stay 2 week nights - I'd say it was worth half that. The lady at the office told me she would email my receipt but I have still not received. We did enjoy some wonderful restaurants in Huron and found a place to fish down the road a bit. It seems this motel is mainly used by groups of men who stay here for fishing trips."

"Loved it so much, booked another night. Bug free, comfy beds, the room is way bigger than I thought and adorable! Room was quiet didn’t hear anything from the neighbors. Love the space, fridge, microwave, affordable. Beach is right on the back, had a beautiful view. Have found my family spot for summer time!"
