Dixie Twin Drive-In

"Going to the Dixie Drive in is one of the fondest memories I have from my childhood. I grew up in poverty in Dayton and going to this drive-in used to be the highlight of my summer. There are only about 300 drive-ins left in the US and I hope this one stays open for many more years to come."

"Great place!!! We've been here a couple times now and loved it everytime. Popcorn is priced reasonably compared to big chain movie theaters, maybe even a little cheaper. Staff is amazing. Tickets are 10 dollars a person, also cheaper than the chain movie theaters and you are getting the same experience, and they show the newest movies as well, plus its nice knowing you are keeping this piece of American history alive and going. Couple tips, bring a small battery powered FM radio with a headphone jack and use a small speaker with an AUX cord for listening or just use the radio itself, so you don't drain your car battery. And most importantly don't be like us, REMEMBER BUG SPRAY!!!! (The concession stand did sell bug repellant bracelets for 3 dollars, they don't work as well as bug spray though.)"

"Place wasn't bad. Movies were a little blurry and hard to see. But it was fine. Be prepared however to smell weed alllll night long and have kids running around screaming. You're in the middle of town, as well, so the noise of motorcycles and everything else is loud and overpowered our speakers a few times."

"Fun time for a date night! Also, its dog friendly! That way you don't have to worry about leaving your dog alone for majority of the night."

"I LOVE the drive in and 100% support Dixie Twin! I do, however, wish people would NOT continue to arrive though out the entire movie rolling slowly down the lanes with their lights on making it impossible to enjoy the movie!!! c'mon people - be considerate of others!!!"
