"This experience was an absolute first for me. Needless to say, as a solo traveler, I was nervous. The minute I walked in, Craig and Dave made me feel welcome. I stayed mid week so the campground was quiet, peaceful and extremely relaxing. I took advantage of the kayaks and enjoyed exploring the river! The room was comfortable and the facilities were clean and well maintained. ALL of the seasonal residents I met were very friendly - extending an invitation to dinner. You’re in good company and won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to return!"

"We had a great time here. Everyone was so friendly! The owners were incredibly kind and helpful with answering our questions. The showers were very clean, as was the pool and other public areas. There was a potluck at Rosie’s and some other themed activities that were a really fun time. We will definitely be back!"

"River Ridge Campground exceeded my expectations and then some. When I booked my first gay campground experience, I was not sure what to expect. So when I arrived, I got myself settled, and set off into the outdoors. Right off, strangers started to wave and say hello, eagerly introducing themselves and where they were from. Within an hour I found myself among friends as if we all knew each other for years. The campground was beautiful and could easily see how much everyone love it there by how much work they put in to it. I have booked my next weekend and can’t wait to see my new friends."

"Absolutely amazing! This was my first trip and definitely will not be my last. Some friends and I came down for a weekend getaway and loved every minute of our stay. Although the campground is fairly small, it was very well maintained and easy to navigate. David and Michael, our camp hosts, were amazing and made sure to answer all of our questions and assist us in anything that we needed. Everyone who was staying were very friendly and made us feel welcome and at home. I would definitely recommend River Ridge to anyone needing some time away among a group of people that will treat you like family."
