Reviews of Danielle Martter, M.D.
"I remember being a young teenager, attempting to advocate for myself for several years in a row that I had abnormal menstruation symptoms and this doctor would not hear me out - ever. She continually pushed birth control onto me and sent me on my way. I spent a chunk of my life crying and bent over in pain while I was trying to focus at school and work, knowing that this was incredibly abnormal but my OBGYN would not listen to me. It took another OBGYN years later to finally listen to me and I was able to get a laproscopy done. My new doctor found severe endometriosis that progressed well into my bowels and explained all the pain I was in for most of my life. Never again will I not immediately listen to my body. I am so happy to have found the relief I deserved a long time ago. Also, not sure if this is still the case but the nurses were awful back then as well. I will never return to this place."
"Dr. Martter delivered both of my daughters, and does my yearly well visits. She is incredible! She is easy to talk to, and always makes me comfortable. Both of my pregnancies were high risk, and she kept my babies and me healthy and happy. I highly recommend her!"
"Had a terrible experience with Dr Martter. I have already added a review but it seems to have disappeared. My daughter has been having a lot of trouble with female issues, and came here because she was recommended by her doctor. Dr Martter was rude, demeaning, and gave terrible service. Told her all her problems were in her head, prescribed birth control and tried to send her to a GI doctor. Traumatized my daughter and did not even do a pap smear, then charged her $130. Horrible doctor! Do yourself a favor and find a different doctor."
"On February 20th, I was seen in the labor & delivery part of the hospital. I was 38+5. I was having back contractions- the contraction monitor was only picking up some so they called it "irritable uterus". I was dilated to a 4. I was having contractions 3-4 minutes apart, lasting about a minute each. Also, I have a UTI that I have had for a year now, it wont go away with any antibiotics in pill form but they wont give me an IV form of it.... anyways, she said I wasnt in labor, it was just my UTI. Even though its not symptomatic. Its dormant. Martter, being the wonderful doctor she is, wanted to send me home- said "you still have two more weeks". and that I needed to "go home and get some sleep"--- THIS B- reaaaalllly gave me, a PREGNANT WOMAN IN LABOR an AMBIEN.I didnt take it obviously. But I did go home after begging them to give me some fluids because I was pretty dehydrated, and asked them to give me another hour because I knew this was it. SO they gave me fluids and boy did the contractions get stronger, and I was beginning to throw up at this point. I dilated a .5 cm so now I was 4.5 and I asked if I could have a second opinion on how dilated I am, but they said no because it wouldnt be reliable because they all have different sized hands?? So whatever. Theyre doctors right? We trust them? Oh, and the nurse they had working that night, I cant remember who she was- after I stated that I was allergic to latex she put on a latex glove and attempted to check me for dilation, luckily my husband caught it... imagine an allergic reaction on top of labor... Anyways I was discharged around 3 something AM on 2-21-19 and had my baby at 6 AM So, thats cool. My baby was born purple and barely breathing, she had to be put on the CPAP machine- which could have been avoided, and then I started to hemorrhage. So yeah- I wouldnt recommend Martter- had it been Niemi or Hazelbaker working that night I know I wouldnt have went home, definitely wouldnt have been prescribed an ambien of all things which by the way are not safe for pregnant women. I dont want to say the whole hospital is bad but I did have bad experiences with Shrinkle and Martter, mainly Martter. The men OBs are very sweet and actually take proper care of you and your baby!! This could have been worst, I could have died (bled out) and my baby couldve died from lack of oxygen. I am very VERY lucky to be alive, and that my baby is alive and well. She is almost 6 months old now! Pleaseeeeee, do not see Martter. She doesnt care about anything except a paycheck. Ill upload my discharge papers and then proof of birth as soon as I get them gathered up to show Im not making any of this up."
"My wife went in to labor three and a half weeks early and her OB was not available. After 32 hours of labor, Dr. Martter was on call and took care of my wife and daughter with exceptional care. My wife has since switched to Dr. Martter as her primary OB because of our experience with her."
