Holiday Inn Cincinnati - Liberty Way, an IHG Hotel

"I stayed at the Holiday Inn near the Liberty Center for two trips recently while traveling on business. The staff was very friendly, courteous and professional. Both times that I stayed the rooms were exceptionally clean. There were not many people staying mid week so it was very quiet which allowed me to get a lot of work done. There is a nice pool and a guest laundry on site. The laundry came in handy and the cost to use the machines was reasonable and they had quarters available at the front desk. This is definitely one of the better properties around West Chester, Ohio or near the Liberty Center and I have stayed at a lot of hotels in this area. The rates here are very reasonable although with any hotels that depends on the time of the year. I would stay here again based on the affordability, the cleanliness and the professionalism of the staff."

"So I decided to stay at this location because it had a restaurant when I get there. The lady at the front desk tells me that the restaurant is not open and has not been since they renovated the location. The hotel was fairly clean I did notice furniture was starting to fall apart and rust spots on the ceiling in the bathroom but all in all pretty clean, and yes the beds were comfortable so the next morning me and my son go down for breakfast and we find out it’s nine dollars for some of the most horrible food I’ve ever seen I was a trooper. I ate my food and paid the bill. I thought about it after and that’s why I’m writing a review. It was something else at the end that kind of caught my eye. Something about a 4 dollar tax that was up and beyond what I already paid for the night before. Not sure what that was about."

"So far so good, I did notice the carpet ripped in one area, I mentioned to the manager just so they don't blame me for it. It's a very clean place. One of the cleanest I've been in this yr and I'm usually in a hotel room every 2 weeks."

"Update- Once I checked my hotel bill closer I see they charge some faux STDF FEE, trying to come off as a resort or something special. When I called and asked the employee started with "that fee is on every hotel bill" to which I corrected his thinking after 25 years of staying in hotels weekly this was a first time money-grab. Will not patronize a place that hides additional fees in the fine print. Great hotel. No pool or bar access as of today but a great hotel value from my point of view. Nice property, friendly staff. I will stay again."

"We booked the room for a business trip based on it advertising a pool and pool side bar. However, once checked in, they informed us that neither were ready or available for use. Of course, it was too late to cancel our reservations without penalty. This left us without any on-site respite to a full day of seminars. Very disappointing. Then we returned to our room after our business to find nothing had been replenished after our first night's use. Shoot, even the bedsheets were put on wrong side out. The breakfast isn't complimentary... it's an additional charge. But I will credit the one hostess who could effectively communicate without language barriers in telling us this at check-in."
