"My family stayed last weekend at the warehouse hotel. It was very clean, it almost felt like an industrial home in Sweden, which we loved! We were greeted at the front desk by a woman named Rosa who was very kind and accommodating. When we arrived in our room we were pleasantly surprised by its simplicity, though I wish there were a coffee pot in the room for our stay. We were also met by several housekeepers who were passing. One name tag our daughter noted was Sara. She said she was very kind and allowed my daughter to sneak a few extra towels and bottles of shampoo! She also offered to take any garbage for us, and supply us with fresh bags. Very on point customer service which made the price all the more reasonable. We will be staying again anytime our team is in the area!"
"It's a great concept and has so much potential but it's missing the mark on ALOT of areas. For now, my biggest suggestion is to go buy coffee makers and microwaves for all the rooms. When you have a major sports complex next door, you HAVE to cater more to those families. Beds and rooms were unique, clean and comfortable. But no fresh towels or beds made on a weekend stay. For $200/night...I need more than just high ceilings and some cool architecture. Also, why can't we get in the door by the parking lot with our room key? Makes zero sense. I really hope that this is still a MAJOR work in process. This place has so much potential! P.S. if you are staying to play at the sports complex, use the doors by the conference center and the complex entrance is literally right across the street."
"It’s like an overpriced hostel. The price point and amenities don’t match. No water at check in, no 24hr gym and the microwaves are on 2 and 3 so if you’re on the first floor past the lower numbered rooms it’s a trip. And you’re not allowed to eat outside your room. The parking is atrocious. No valet, shuttle or covered walkway but that only parking is across the street and shared with the city rec center. That’s also the gym for guests, so you have to get fully dressed, coat and all or just tough it the distance across, which really isn’t bad unless it’s raining or snowing, which it did during my stay. There’s no guest specific parking. Despite A frames pointing different directions, it’s all the same parking lot. If you work similarly to 9-5 or there’s practices, you’re in the back. And the closest door to the lot is exit only, which was also really fun in rain and snow. I was there a week and never received service despite requesting it. I just bought tissue and towels because the walk to the front wasn’t worth the trouble every day. While I understand the desired aesthetic, waking up to dirty ceiling holes every morning was a little off putting, and the walls are a little thin. TV signal was spotty and all cement floors look really good but weren’t my favorite if I needed to get out of bed at night. They get really cold The front desk staff was really nice which was cool, but I wouldn’t recommend this location outside of tournament stays."
"This is a very institutionalized facility specifically catering to the sports facility across the street. The rooms are more akin to dorms than a decent hotel. Bare bones is a touch to polite. No coffee makers in rooms, no microwave, at least half the rooms (on the second floor where we were) have windows that look into an inaccessible hallway with lights that never go off. The beds are uncomfortable with thin blankets and flat pillows. Somehow the room was very humid and cold at the same time. Everything is cheaply made and it feels like it. The bathrooms don’t have bathtubs, just showers, which my son would have loved after a day full of playing soccer. Only about 1/4 of the “future” restaurants and shops are open. Food at the “restaurant” (really just an open space in the foyer of the conference center) is over priced and certainly not worth it. The cherry on top is parking. You have to park about 300 yards from the hotel in an open air lot that doubles as parking for the sports facility. If you’re unlucky, that walk can increase quickly based on overall attendance and occupancy. Overall, you’re better off staying closer to the town center and enjoying the amenities Hamilton has to offer."
"New industrial hotel in an old rehabbed paper building. Oversized rooms with large ceilings and openness. The room is standard and does not come with any bottled water. The mattress appears to be a full instead of queen but still a medium cost level bed. Very clear and beautifully designed facility. Great location for anyone using the sports and conference facilities. The lady on 3rd shift working the front desk was beyond kind and made check in very easy. The staff was wonderful."
