Super 8 by Wyndham Marysville

"We were in need of a hotel an our choices were limited an choose this place an found a Cockroach in room#106. I asked for a refund an was told the only way I could get that is to leave the Premises, or they would call the cops. I trap the cockroach in a cup pit an ice bag over the cup with a hair tie. an will be taking it to the the health dept."

"Unfortunately I would not recommend Wyndham Hotels, nor this hotel. This particular hotel is in a great location and looks neat outdoors. However, our reservation was incorrect and the refund process was long and frustrating. Also the room we saw was tiny and dark, not very clean, and smelled musty. There were shirtless guys just lounging around in the parking lot. When we went to other local hotels to find a different room, they all said it is common for them to get last minute customers from this Super 8. I guess messed up reservations or unsatisfactory rooms are not unusual."

"Well kept up outdoors swimming pool, friendly staff, our room had frayed carpet before getting to bathroom area. Could cause an accident, bed was comfortable. It could use a fresh paint job on the outside. Price was great."

"Paid for a king bed in a handicap room got a full size. Also requested a NON-SMOKING ROOM. Was placed in a SMOKING ROOM. Was move to a room with 2 full size beds. Cleaning people do there job half way. Pillow cases had stains. Someone's underwear and socks were left in the drawer. Continental breakfast was a joke. Hardly offered anything even if you went when they opened it. Will not be staying at any more super 8 hotels."

"Room was clean and comfortable, pool was also clean and nicely decorated. Staff were kind and courteous for both check in and check out. Breakfast was more than brand standard, offering the standard cereals, danish, fruit, coffee, waffles, juice, and milk but they also had biscuits and sausage gravy. Breakfast area was very nice and looked recently updated."
