"Priced $15 more than the website. Door did not seal at all. Air Conditioner worked at half capacity at best. Afraid to shower because of the very bad ceiling patch Jon over the shower. Only one lamp would turn on out of three."

"Budget Host Inn offers a clean comfortable bed at a reasonable price. The hotel has been around for a few years and it does show its age but the people are friendly and the hotel is decently clean. Free hot food in the morning as part of your stay. My wife and I have stayed here many times between Michigan and Georgia we stopped in for a refreshing evening."

"Please look past the age of this hotel. Great mixmatched homey large rooms! Nice amenities and comfortable bed. Love the cute fireplace heater! Very clean throughout, very friendly host, comfort-breakfast that's complimentary. Situated within walking distance to other businesses, but itself is a peaceful and quiet hotel. Prices are reasonable, too!"

"Was told we'd be totally amazed with the remodel they had done in the room, the room was supposed to be 53.95. Got there to check in and the rate was 80.00 for the room because they were all booked up and only had 4 rooms left and the price was higher because the room we were offered was a total remodel. Went ahead and agreed to pay the price. Got into the room and it was dirty, wallpaper literally was peeling off the wall and the smoke detector was removed with the wires hanging from the ceiling. This room looked as if it had never been cleaned and the air conditioner barely kept the room cool. For a non smoking room it smelled like a smoking room, plus the comforter had two cigarette burn holes in it..I ended up tossing it on the floor and just slept with the sheet. Totally disappointed and disgusted. The restaurant/ bar was not impressive but the food was good and decently priced. The free breakfast was good and cooked to order. The only thing I can say was nice about this place. If your in this area please drive the extra 10 minutes to much nicer places to stay and much nicer places and more to pick from to eat.. I'd give zero stars if the option was available."
