Red Roof Inn Toledo - Maumee

"I was homeless in Toledo for nearly 6 months, and for the last part of my time in the city we were living here. The staff is great. I haven't had issues with anyone, they were all helpful and kind. Charlene at the front desk in the mornings, and one guy who worked third shift (I don't remember names well, sorry) were particularly amazing. The rooms are nice for the price point. They're very clean, and they also just renovated the whole place while we were there. It's a convenient location as well, whether you are staying long term like we were, or if you are just traveling and passing through. They also let us stay with our cats for no extra fees. During this hard time in our lives, I don't think I could have survived it, mentally, without my girls. Photos attached for cat tax ^^ If you're on the fence, give it a try. The clientele can be rowdy and obviously the amenities are lackluster, but it's a nice place for the price rang. And I had positive experiences with staff as well, especially Charlene and the guy on third shift with glasses whose name I cannot remember"

"Nice rooms until my next stay there was roaches. They come in your room before check out. The police are stalkers they literally harrass the people. Don't bother checking in when they have construction. They don't refund your money when rudely awaken by them or other faculty staff members. Front desk is not friendly or patient or even remotely professional."

"Great time here, great price, rooms are very nice and clean. They are truly pet friendly and will not charge more for your pets. I had a great time here and will definitely return. The Days Inn across the street, where I stayed first, was a total trash hole compared."

"I've stayed in good motels and bad, this was not one of the good ones. No microwave or mini fridge. Ice machines all broken although there were (very) small bags of ice available at the desk. Coffee pods did not fit the coffee maker and decaf only. No blankets and a thin bedspread. Lumpy pillows. The floor was sticky. Otherwise it was quiet and the a/c worked well. Several restaurants and bars nearby."
