"Booked a room for my daughter's birthday to swim and stay. The pool had so much chlorine. My kids only lasted 25 minutes (not normal) they were literally coughing continuously, saying they couldn't breathe. None of us have been coughing nor sick. The shower head was gross with buildup and hairs in the tub also. It was a very worn down and low cleanliness. As we were getting ready for bed, the beds looked clean and felt great. However, two cockroaches came out from behind the bedframe. We packed up our kids and left at midnight. The front desk service was understanding and said I'd be refunded. He was very kind and I am so grateful for that."

"I came here January 27th 2024 expecting a nice day for my sisters birthday party but ended in a disaster. As i enter the room there are mark all over the walls damp ceilings and rusted objects. Second the swimming pool had to much cleaner in it which caused my siblings to throw up and other visitors cough non-stop. Third later that night me and my step dad were in our rook laying in are beds when we are encountered with a baby cockroach crawling on the nightstand and a somewhat grown cockroach crawling on the bed-frame of my bed. After this we immediately left and are never coming here again. 3-10 I do not recommend people save your money. Stay safe."

"We were in the area visiting a sick relative. Needed a place to stay. Found this on one of the travel sights. Good price. Great room. Friendly check in. Good breakfast. Recommend if you are in the area."

"My husband and I stayed there with our 2 toddlers. It was fairly clean. Definitely not new. The bath tub dripped and the coffee maker in the room didn't work. The breakfast was good. The pool was kinda dirty but that could have had something to do with the large group of children that were there for a birthday party. They had just gotten out. Overall not bad. The beds were clean. But I wouldn't call it stellar either. There were splatter marks on the walls in our room at several places. Prolly more of an experience I'd expect from say, Super 8 or something."

"Stayed last night on our trip across country. Wauseon seems to be a quiet and clean city/town. This hotel is pet friendly, military friendly, has a clean pool, a fitness center with all working equipment, the room was clean, beds were clean and comfortable. The curtains were a bit worn, but did their job and the water doesn't seem to be potable according to my son, though we are use to having to drink bottled water so you will have to be the judge if the water is potable or not. This Holiday Inn did it's job as a hotel so there is nothing much more one can ask for after a long day on the road."
