Holiday Inn Express & Suites Wapakoneta, an IHG Hotel

"Room was very clean had baked cookies out a mini coffee bar/station and pool was great breakfast amazing I've stayed at a few hotels in my day this ones in my top 3 I'm coming back next week"

"My wife, Son, and I drove as far as we could on the drive home during a marathon trip for a funeral. We found this hotel and saw decent reviews. I typically only do positive reviews, but this one is an exception. 1.The rooms needed updating and repair. 2.The road noise from the interstate is loud. 3.My wife got severely ill on the road in heavy traffic 8 hours after we left and we suspect was from the breakfast or "lemon water" they served. Took three days for her to recover, and luckily she was the only one that did breakfast. One positive, the staff was friendly. Will not stay here again if we drive through there again."

"I was there for work, fantastic breakfast, fantastic staff, I forgot a pair of socks on the floor because I was in a rush to get to work because I overslept because the bed was so comfortable and the pillows were fantastic, when I came in after working one of my stores they had picked my socks up and cleaned my room up for me! They are absolutely fantastic. The staff literally are super kind and helpful. The breakfast changes each morning but every time I ate breakfast they had these delicious omelets, would definitely recommend this hotel! The location is also amazing!"

"I don't recommend this hotel. I called to cancel around 6 pm and the front desk lady verified my reservation and also told me the next night (Saturday) was sold out. She told me she would inform the mgr that I asked not to be charged; that it is up to the manager to not charge the card. She told me he would be in next morning. Within 3 minutes the charge of $235.61 went onto my card!!!! I emailed the manager to know that I asked, and he refused to refund my money and kept it. I know hotels "can" charge for no show, but they did not lose money on me as they were sold out by midnight-we called. This manager did not need to keep my money. This is poor business practice and no hotel has ever charged me for a last minute cancelation. I will not use this hotel ever.... What a lousy way to do business!!!"

"I stayed here the night before and the night of my wedding. We used the room for myself (bride) and the bridesmaids to get ready for the wedding. The first thing I noticed is the suite is smaller in person than it appears to be in the pictures. While getting ready for the wedding, we had a crowded room with about 10 people in it. A housekeeper stuck her head in the door of my room and told us we were being too loud and needed to be quiet. I called the front desk to inform them of the situation, and they assured me that they would handle it and that we were fine. My husband and I enjoyed the continental breakfast, and they had reasonably priced rooms for our wedding guests."
