Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bryan-Montpelier, an IHG Hotel

"I booked this hotel via the app as a gold member for a one night stay only to have the desk agent inform me that I had no reservations on file upon arrival. I had to stay at a neighboring hotel only to learn Holiday Inn charged me and sent me a receipt the next morning. I called and spoke to a manager in the morning who agreed to refund the charges a month ago. I have emailed the hotel multiple times since, no response and no refund. Overall, poor management. Do not recommend. 2/15/2024 Wish I could update this post with positive reviews but despite the comment by the owner, no action has been taken, zero communication despite my emails to the establishment. I look forward to avoiding this hotel and others in the chain. I will give back my gold status. Best of luck to other travelers."

"Wonderfully kind staff, maybe the best quality breakfast I've had a hotel in a while -- chobani yogurt, fresh fruit, Red Mill oatmeal. Clean rooms. And very dog friendly"

"Room is nice but a little sterile, cold. Would have liked an armchair but guess I'm old school. Good sized room with big screen smart tv. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast area was nice and spacious, airy. Food was ok and coffee good. Overall a good experience, perhaps a touch overpriced."

"I travel a lot. Titanium at Marriott and platinum with IHG. Room was nice. Typical of a holiday inn Express, they don't have USB ports available in the rooms unless they were remodeled in the last year... Bed was so comfy. Room was clean but the bathroom was not. Dried pee and dust all over the side of the toilet so clearly hasn't been getting properly cleaned. Reported it to the front desk before checking out. Nothing was done to rectify or compensate me for the dirtiness"

"I was hesitant to stay here after reading the reviews, we were tired after traveling and needed a hotel to stay in that evening. We were checked in by Sue, who was very friendly and helpful - I highly recommend talking with her if you check in at early evening. I requested a room on the first floor, if available, there were a couple available. Our room was clean and smelled fresh. The carpet was a little damp after just being cleaned, not complaining and was very happy. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was very clean too. The kids went to the pool and had a relaxing time with other families. The breakfast was really good and the food kept being restocked after families went through. The area was very clean too. The person working with the morning breakfast was Corena, very nice. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. I'm sorry to read the poor reviews, I couldn't find anything wrong. I had a great night sleep in a very clean room."
