Quality Inn Decatur near US-224

"I booked my hotel online was not giving an option to use my AARP or my AAA I booked a handicap room with two beds. When I got there I was giving the key to room 1206 which is a handicap accessible room with one queen bed the room smelled horrible it smelled like a sewer and you could smell it in the hallway as well I immediately called the desk I then went to room 1216 not handicapped but a double Queen I was very disappointed also the day before my reservation the pool broke down after driving 3 hours I needed to get in the swimming pool or a handicap shower and did not have the option of either unfortunately this is the only hotel in Decatur that has an indoor swimming pool"

"The guy working the front desk was extremely rude from start to finish. We had 2 rooms my family and my dad's. Our family was eating in the lobby and he rudely came in and asked us to be sure we didn't get anything on the floor. I was like yeah man of course if we make a mess we will clean it, mop it whatever its no big deal. He kept going no its ok just don't make a mess and he kept repeating it and repeating it after I reassured him he wouldn't have to clean anything. He just kept with the attitude. If they have policies on eating in the lobby that's one thing but for him to be as rude as he was because he only wanted to sit in his chair on his phone the whole time is extremely unprofessional and rude as hell. He made my whole family feel very unwelcome the whole time we stayed. I was very shocked because my family has used this location so many times and it used to be a pretty welcoming place but apparently not anymore. Definitely recommend using a different hotel in Decatur the service can't be any worse than whoever that guy was."

"Good day, Due to my line if work, I am a frequent traveler and have come to expect amenities at a particular price point. One of them is a decent offering of breakfast foods, carbohydrates do not cut it, the body needs proteins to sustain a degree of performance. The room was very clean, comfortable, and VERY bright, bring an eye mask for sleeping, the parking is lit up like a national security site. I can not speak of any other areas of the establishment. I would stay again if no other options were available the fit my expectations."

"No issues, room was clean and breakfast looked fine at 5:45am. The front desk goes unstaffed for large stretches of time. Curtains do not block extremely bright parking lot lights and the AC was very loud. Didn’t get a wink of sleep, but was also nervous about making my flight as there is ZERO transportation option in Decatur so plan accordingly."

"I stayed for 2 weeks while at a job site, so the location was huge for me. Everything was fine, and I had no real issues. Room cleaning was by request . The breakfast while offering various items never had scrambled eggs. They have a nice indoor pool and fitness area."
