"In October of 2020, I scheduled an appointment to look at birth control options. I wanted to get a non hormonal IUD & he refused to let me choose that option & prescribed me pills. I returned in January to get an IUD because the pills were causing too many side effects. I again asked for the non hormonal option and he once again refused & told me to get the hormonal version (Skyla). I have been on this for 9 months & my side effects are unbearable. Constant nausea & dizziness, I always find myself tired, I have been experiencing horrible constipation, sleepless nights, & 30+ pound weight gain. I knew what was best for my body & he did not allow me to get the birth control that I knew would be best for my situation. I do not recommend & will need to find a new OBGYN that will listen to my concerns & do as i wish!"
