"The host left a terrible feeling , we are regulars, and we appreciate the servers and food, but when we came twice with reservations and there were tables openings , we were only offered bistro high tops, despite the other two servers and barista wondering why we didn’t get the just opened table. The host was firm and rude. It’s nice we live in city with many options and restaurants without having to deal with “personalities”"

"This place is so cute and the food was fantastic! We got a last minute reservation for 9 pm Valentines day. The atmosphere is great. The drinks are unique and tasty. I would 100% recommend the Short Rib Ragu, it was insanely good. Will definitely be back!"

"The Sycamore is an adorable and inviting brunch spot that's perfect if you find yourself in the area. While snagging a table can sometimes be a bit of a challenge, there are moments of availability. In terms of the food, it was enjoyable, though I must admit I wasn't entirely blown away. The quality appeared to be quite good, but I did think a lot of the dishes were a bit too salty for my liking. Additionally, when it came to the burger, the portion size left a little something to be desired. Nonetheless, The Sycamore's charm and coziness make it a charming option for a leisurely brunch outing."

"Great location, beautiful interior, and absolutely delicious food! I did think it was a little odd to order food & drinks at the counter. It definitely felt like a table service type of vibe. Regardless, it was an excellent experience and I look forward to coming back! Update: We went back to the sycamore after the great experience we had the first time and ran into some problems. The drinks, appetizers and service were still great. However, the hanger steak we ordered medium rare (which he said was the default for how they cooked it anyway) came out scorched. They also did not have steak knives so it was even harder to eat with how burned it was. They also gave us the wrong side for the steak (ordered a side salad). We'll still be back because the first experience we had was so good that I hope it was just a one off night. Hopefully I can put it back up to 5 stars!"
