"I adopted a puo from them. They are so nice. The pup inspired me so much that I wrote a children's book about the ordeal. https://amzn.to/41afy8L"
"Adopted my current dog back in March. Everyone has been so nice from the time I first stepped foot in the door to volunteer and ended with my new friend. We occasionally stop back in to visit and donate. This past weekend, they did pictures with Santa. Such a great event!"
"After speaking with this shelter over the last few days then meeting them in person I found that the animals best interest is not there biggest concern and they do not have the experience or knowledge needed when it comes to different types of animals. After filling out the paper work going threw the process meeting there qualifications making the arrangements to go pick the animal up which is 2 hours away showing up then being told things about the animal that should of been stated in the beginning i pointed out concerns about the animals health that should of been addressed and I decided to still take the animal they then say well maybe our vet who doesn't even deal with this type of animal on a regular basis should check into this further I stated that that should of been delt with in the beginning but that I could just let my vet who is qualified with this type of animal look her over they said no we will just do it an call you tomorrow. Their vet called me the next day was extremely rude laughed at my concerns informed me she has road the animal which was not healthy enough to ride and then said we decided we will find someone else to take the animal. My response was so I was qualified but since i showed concerns on what the animal needed now i cant have her because i pointed out how you weren't doing your job which is the actual issue Mind you I have been doing animal rescue for 30 yrs. This was the most horrible shelter I have ever delt with! Then doing my research with local people from the area apparently this shelter is known for being a terrible place. The vet there rode this horse that had an injured leg under weight and week muscles on the back half from being kept in a stables for to long with neglect and they still aren't putting her out to grasses like she needs!"
"I volunteer down there it's amazing the animals are great. I recommend this one day they have there she is a pit bull terrier but she's the sweetest thing you'll ever meet. Her adoption fee is only 25 bucks she doesn't bark. However she can't be around small children or other dogs as she doesn't know her own size lol. I would get her but I have small dogs myself so unfortunately I can't. She's 9 years old and she used to be used in a puppy mill. She's fixed and her name is mystic."
"My parents adopted a wonderful dog from them and we all love him so much,we are so grateful for his rescuers and the shelter for everything they did to help him"
