"I have been shopping for insurance rates since I am moving in with my boyfriend and changing counties. Dorean got back to me very quickly, however, too quick. I explained that while I have a clean driving record that my boyfriend does not, so we wouldn't be rated the same. She said that it was only $68 annually to add him as a driver on my policy. When I questioned the low rate and explained his history, she assured me there wouldn't be any surprises and it was $68 to add him. (It was such a great rate overall that it seemed too good to be true and I was supicious.) Since that rate was so good, I decided to see what it would be for a new policy under both of our names since he is looking to possibly change as well. She sent me a quote with identical rates (we have the same year make and model of vehicle). I reached out to her again to see if she ran the MVR and stated that we would not be rated the same and if that indeed was his price, that mine should be lower. (I figured mine was correct because it was a pretty good rate). It took her a day to get back to me and now she states "I was able to rerate the ***'s policy. Unfortunately, *** has declined coverage with the both of you listed as drivers because there are 3 or more incidents in the past 60 months. Thanks, Dorean Louderback, Licensed Agent Ganley Insurance Agency." So obviously she wasn't really able to re-rate the policy, she updated with the correct information and was unsuccessful in getting a quote with that particular company. After all of this time and energy spent and her claiming to be licensed with a number of agencies, and her assuring me there would be no surprises, she just says she can't even write me a policy. She shouldn't have given me 2 bogus quotes and should have properly quoted me from the start. I have a clean driving record and I have quotes from other agents with my boyfriend added or with us on a policy together, and I have not been told by anyone else they can't write me a policy because of 2 tickets and a small accident that he has from 3 years ago. She didn't even give me any other quotes from other companies or offer to. She just seemed so so very off and there is no way I would tell anyone to trust her based on my experience. She wasted my time."
