Cardo's Pizza 3606 Lockbourne Road, Columbus, OH 43207

"Went here for the first time last night. It was about a 20 minute drive from where we are at. I use to live right down the street off of Beechcroft in Forest Park East from a Cardo’s back in the 80’s and we ate there all the time. Not sure if it’s the same Cardo’s or not, but regardless the pizza was absolutely amazing. It will definitely be our go-to despite the drive. I really love the old school atmosphere of the place. Plus the back way drive there gave me great nostalgia of growing up. Just seeing parts of the city, factories and all the graffiti and trains. Aside from the pizza, that alone was worth the drive. The pizza stayed hot & crisp the entire drive, which was awesome. The crust isn’t thick and also not too thin, just perfect. ABSOLUTEY loved their sausage and the fact that it had plenty of fennel seed. I tend to heavily judge pizza joints by their sausage and theirs did not disappoint whatsoever. On the flip, I think they might’ve of accidentally given us a medium pizza instead of the large we ordered, but it wasn’t a big deal at all. It was ridiculously delicious and fed both me and my Wife. Despite currently living in Grove City, we will be coming to Cardo’s most of the time from now on. That’s no disrespect to Zamarelli’s, Tammy’s, Grandstand or any of the other local joints. ✌️"

"I stopped in after hearing the pizza was good. I was greated by a couple friendly faces. The menu on the wall like the old days I loved it. I ordered a small spicy pizza and helped myself to a few games of pinball while I waited. The pizza had a nice thin not burnt crust, I prefer thicker crust but this was spot on. The flavors exploded and sauce sausage is perfect. 9.7 honestly, and it has to be with chain competition across the street. A bit odd to get to with having to get in from a side street entrance but so worth it."

"The First time coming to this little neighborhood restaurant and it was perfect. Second time the pie was over done. Called and they remade my pizzas and apologized. Overall good pizza. Will try the subs next time."
