Reviews of Cincinnati Kung Fu
"I have been a student at Cincinnati Kung Fu for 10 years and it is hands down one of the best Martial Arts schools in the city. Master Joe and Master Katy are two of the best martial artists I have ever met and surround themselves with a great group of instructors. They provide a respectful and fun environment for learning, but also are willing to push you farther than you ever thought possible. Whether you're interested in learning a traditional martial art, getting back into shape, or just looking for a new way to challenge yourself, this is absolutely the place to go!"
"Cincinnati Kung Fu literally saved my life. In 2005, I was overweight, out of shape and really not doing much with my life. This group of people changed that in profound ways. I've made lifetime friends here. I met my wife here. I got in shape and learned tools to help me succeed in everything I want to do in life. There is no aspect of my existence that this school, this family hasn't made better. Everyone is welcomed here. You will not find a more open and supportive environment anywhere. This place changes you. All you have to do is show up. The first class is free. What are you waiting for?"
"This place is basically my second home. Master Joe and Master Katy welcomed me here with open arms and have been the best mentors to me for Kung Fu. I feel very connected with this school as it has improved my confidence, my physique, and my overall well-being. Highly recommend."
"When I first moved here to Cincinnati 10 years ago, I tried multiple Martial Art Schools before walking into Cincinnati Kung Fu. They were the first school to welcome me and invite me to watch their classes for free to see of it would be a good fit. Master Joe and Master Katy are two of the best Martial Art teachers I have ever met. They have encouraged me and pushed me to become a better person and a better martial artist! The friends I have made through this school have become my tribe and I look forward to every class and every opportunity to train with them! If you like Martial Arts, pushing yourself, growing as an athlete, breaking personal barriers, reaching goals you did not think possible then this school is for you!"
"Two of my co workers got me into this school. We started a wellness program at my job which included Tai Chi. They told me that I needed to come to this school and try Kung Fu out. I had a previous martial arts background and decided to give it a try. I started at the school about a month later. I have been a student there for 2.5 years and I really enjoy it. It feels like family. If you are worried about not being able to do something because it seems too hard, do not get discouraged because everything can be modified. I can do things that I thought I could never do or have been told that I would never be able to do. Kung Fu has made me more confident in myself. Every Master and Sifu are truly amazing. They work with you hands on and give you feedback. They are there to help you become the best person possible. I feel better after leaving class because I achieve something every time I go. I also practice Tai Chi which is the internal system. If you are looking for something that is not as intense, I would give this a try. You learn different forms of meditation and you apply the breathing to all the forms you do. Everything you learn in Kung Fu and Tai Chi, you can apply it in your every day life. Come out and try a class. We have a lot of fun and we take what we do serious. It has been an amazing journey so far."
