"It is with great regret that I have to review this and rate them for what I have to rate them with. Spaghetti Warehouse at his old location was phenomenal in my time living in Columbus, Ohio. Then there was a short period where it kind of fell off where the food just wasn't as good. Then a little before the closing of the spaghetti Warehouse, the food became phenomenal again. The red sauce was excellent. The pasta was perfect. The bread was just melting in your mouth and of course the atmosphere of the warehouse was excellent. However, there were things that happened in force them to move so I took some time. Waited with great anticipation for the new location to open. I waited on purpose a while just so they could work all the bugs out. I went on my son's birthday he wanted to go so we took him and it was absolutely horrible. The food was not good. The chicken parmesan was dry. The red sauce tastes like red water. The pasta was not good at all. The bread was horrible. The best thing about it was the service our server. She was nice and friendly. She was excellent but the food is why we were there along with trying to you know catch a glimpse of the new atmosphere which is not there at all. The ambiance of it is not at all like it was and I do understand things have to change but the one thing that could never change is the quality of food in the quality of food. The day I went was not good at all and it's not the service fault at all. The food is just not good and I regret and hate to say that because of the love I once had for spaghetti Warehouse and I regret to say I will never return again because of the food quality. One another note, parking can also be a big problem as well. Moreover, if you get a salad you will get it an extremely small salad. It's almost like a kids menu salad. It's not worth it."
"Love Spaghetti Warehouse! Have gone to the old location growing up and was so excited to hear they opened the High Street location I booked a reservation immediately. The food was delicious - I ordered the chicken parmigiana and that and the bread tasted the same as before. The restaurant is in a great location right at the Columbus Commons and you can get a beautiful view of the lights there during the holiday season. Can't wait to go back!"
"Not too impressive! The menu is about 1/4 of the size it used to be with only certain items available. The atmosphere is Nothing like it used to be in the old location.......lacks ambience. Overall, it seems with the location change there's been a management change and it isn't for the best. Mediocre service and mediocre food. I wouldn't recommend it."
"The food was delicious as always. I was slightly disappointed in the ambience. It’s just not the same as it was but you’re talking about a girl who grew up as a child going to the Spaghetti Warehouse. I knew the history of many of the artifacts in the old restaurant, including the stained glass windows and the trolley car. The service was excellent. The people were friendly I would return."
"It's a much smaller space; I'd estimate a quarter of the square footage. The wedding soup looked much improved, but was lukewarm and very bland. The portions, at least what I ordered, were significantly less than the old location. Very small drink glasses; servers are going to hate running refills constantly. The menu is scattershot, as many items won't be available until late next month. The service was a tad slow and disjointed; you could tell they weren't fully trained or prepared to open yet. I assume they couldn't wait any longer, since they're in a very high rent district. The atmosphere is...generic, at best. There is one(yes, one) item at the front beside the bar from the old location(Uncle Sam carving). Otherwise, there is very little to tie it to the original. If you didn't know any better, you'd think you walked into a generic wing joint/sports bar. Except for the TV's, the walls are mostly bare. You walk between two sides of booths(their "homage" to the trolley car) to get to the main dining room, which has a few large televisions, and overlooks the Columbus Commons(which is cool with the Christmas light display in view). There are two or three glass garage doors which look like they'll be used in the Spring or Summer, I assume for concerts, etc. It's a bit of a walk from the Columbus Commons garage, unless you luck into a street spot). They will most likely alienate most of their old customer base, especially families, as it's nothing like the original(nothing to look at, no candy or games, etc). I really wouldn't even consider taking our Grandchildren there any longer, which is sad; it's definitely an adult vibe. If they can't attract a new clientle fairly quick, I'm not sure how long they'll survive. We may give it another shot in a few months, but I'm not optimistic. On the plus side, the Dayton location is phenomenal and worth the hour drive."
