Adaptive Sports Connection
About the Business
Adaptive Sports Connection is a non-profit organization located in Powell, Ohio, dedicated to providing adventure, inspiration, and camaraderie through adaptive sports. One of their exciting programs is the Boundless Freedom: Veterans Adventure Weekend, where participants can experience the thrill of amputee soccer on Columbus's inaugural amputee soccer team. The game is played on a 3/4 size pitch with unique rules to accommodate players with limb differences. No soccer experience is needed, and all equipment is provided. Additionally, their Bikes to Go Program helps individuals own a bike tailored to their specific needs, promoting freedom and independence. By participating in their Get Out Adventures program, you can support their mission of empowering veterans, children, and adults with disabilities through the power of sports and therapeutic recreation. Adaptive Sports Connection is an active chapter of Move United and is dedicated to helping veterans thrive both physically and mentally. Join them in making a difference and supporting their impactful programs.

Reviews
"Awesome group of dedicated and skilled volunteers. Very well organized and serves a wide range of abilities in inclusive environments."
"This place has lots of up to date equipment. The landing is nice with the sand beach. There is plenty of parking. Great place to have a class."
"So neat little place I tried kayaking my first time. It was free to me because I am a veteran. However I made a donation to cover my cost so that the program stays available for veterans that are struggling. They also work with special needs members. So a great place to support. I will return soon to continue supporting them and their mission."
"I went kayaking with my husband. It was fantastic. They explain everything to you. Show you the map and make suggestions on where to go to and what you will see. The place is beautiful and the fact that they help people who want to play sports and may not be able to with normal equipment is fantastic. They will design the equipment to meet a specific need."
