"The pool is shorter than a standard full-length, 25-yard pool, no matter what they tell you, and it's pretty cold. Plus, the lanes are extremely narrow, and if you have to share with another swimmer, you will be running into them. The locker room is usually very clean, though the showers often have hair on the walls (show me a gym without that). I gave the 3 stars because I chose this gym because it advertised child watch services. We used them for a while and had no problems, but then they closed the child watch program permanently without giving any warning. My only guess is that they didn't pay enough to keep the employees or bring new ones on. We were disappointed and had to switch to the Fairfield Road location, which is not as well-maintained."

"I love this gym! It’s my favorite Esporta location in the area. It’s very clean and everyone is so nice. The GM Ryder takes concerns seriously and is really friendly. He set up my PT for me and explain the system really well. Adryan at the front desk is really nice and always helps me with account problems."

"While visiting Dayton on a business trip, I was happy to find an LA Fitness that allowed me to get in a good workout. The gym was very clean and looked very modern. They have an indoor track upstairs and what I would call a very unique room for spin class (looks like large yellow silo). There were plenty of treadmills and elliptical machines upstairs as well. I showed up at 5:00pm and had no trouble getting time on the machines I needed for my leg day. My only complaint about the gym was the shortage of free weights in the free weight area. I had to walk around a few times searching for enough 45lb plates for my leg press. But I consider that a tiny issue that did not stop the workout. Another plus for this gym is the close proximity of a parking garage (right across the street) which means no shortage of parking. A huge plus when you just want to get in the gym. Overall, I think this is a top notch gym that I wish I could be a permanent member of!"
