"If you have experience with other martial arts programs I just want to let you know TNT is very different. In other programs the feedback of how you are progressing through earning your next belt, is in my opinion, is too slow. TNT has several belts so the kids can see and feel their progress. I believe it is important to receive feedback especially when they are starting to keep them motivated. Secondly, TNT is focused on self defense so you will learn skills for a life time. Third, TNT has amazing instructors that foster a great atmosphere. The instructors work with the individual. They work with with talent and ability that you come with and they help you reach your next level. Fourth, TNT makes martial arts/self defense fun and something to look forward to. Lastly, I want to say that Tony provides the kids with more than martial arts training. Tony mentors the kids on how to be good people. At the end of one of the sessions he sat the kids down and said to them your school grades are a reflection of how you think about yourself. He said like all things in life you have to discipline yourself to get through the things you may not want to do. He talked about chores and how it’s not fun to do them but it’s a way to say thanks Dad and Mom for the hard work that you do."

"My 6yo son has been attending tnt midwest for going on 2 yrs and even if a challenge at first his confidence and behavior over the last year has been remarkable. When his 1st grade teacher uses him as her model student and such great things about his behavior I knew it wasn't just us his parents tnt made a huge difference. "I enrolled my 6yo here 18 months ago. Her focus abilities have always been sub-peers, and it took her longer than all her classmates to progress through the belts, but she loves the program and has a great sense of accomplishment when she reaches each goal. I myself enrolled last year, and while I'm not an athletic person, also managed to progress through the belts until I had to stop for medical reasons. The environment here is unmatched. The instructors are each talented and unique with their teaching styles, as well as patient. They push you to push yourself beyond what you thought your limits were to reach goals you weren't sure you could. The children's teachers are kind, but expect discipline and focus during class. The students are like family, pushing each other to excel, and forming friendships as they learn and progress together. Clearly we love this place and these people."
