"Our dental office aims for the highest standard of care for our patients, and unfortunately we have found Dental Care Plus dental insurance to be below the standard of care. They do not encourage the best treatment for their providers or the patients those providers are treating. We unfortunately have begun recommending our patients drop their insurance plans with this company due to their lack of cooperation with our office. We sincerely hope things change with this company for the betterment of dentistry in our area"
"I have called them three times for the same problem and have not found resolution. First time he took all my info to send to someone for help, then he dropped the call before we were finished and didn't call back. I called a second time and she said there were no notes on my file and took all the info again to send to someone who could help (her computer wiped it out and she had to take all the info a second time). I called back a week later when I hadn't heard back and got the some person. She had no notes. What happened to the notes? Then she kept putting me on hold and asking someone else for the answer to my problem and starting taking stabs in the dark what it could be - none of which addressed the problem. Then she told me to call my dentist - my dentist told me to call them. My question: Why is the amount of what they say they will pay on the Explanation of Benefits different than what they actually paid my dentist (they paid less than what the EOB says). Pretty simple question. I have spent way too much time on trying to find an answer to a simple question. They need to train their people better."
