"I have been with state farm for 17 years always had the previous agent Bob Donley at this location , until his and his receptionist recent retiring. Todd and his assistants Mary Beth took over and since then things have gone down hill drastically. I tried to give the benefit of doubt at first as they just took on a new load and had to get a lot of things in order. However things did not seem to be improving. They are not personable what so ever, Marybeth speaks over you as your talking , her and I had a previous conversation a week prior and a week later when I called to discuss why my monthly bill was raised after her and I discussed a week before that it would be going down she did not remember talking to me, and in response “ are you sure you didn’t talk to ____” she never can help or answer questions on first call she needs to call you back after she contacts someone else. This is after you call the office on numerous accounts and no one answers, goes to voicemail and you have to wait 24 hrs to get a return call to even discuss anything. I was suppose to receive a scheduled phone call to discuss with Todd about savings and others things he could offer when he first took over; I received a voicemail 45 minutes later than my scheduled time that stated he would like to reschedule. I recently decided to shop around and found a much better rate and decided to leave State Farm after 17 years. I called to cancel my policy and of course after no answer on first call I immediately called back to which Todd answered and was not personable did not reassure me he was taking the time to take care of this for me, but instead asked for my name and then said “ok “ and hung up, no good bye I will make sure this is done or let’s get that taken care of for you right now, or even “ may I ask why your leaving after so long” nothing. After contacting state farm customer service department today to confirm this had been taken care of last week when I called to request , not much to my surprise I am told that it hadn’t been. And they would take care of it and I would receive a letter in the mail in 5-7 days. A letter which I should have already been receiving this week had Todd and his office handled the situation properly. I understand no two people are alike nor will they run a business or handle situations or customers the same, but this was a major change from the previous agent at this location who was very personable who answered phone on first call , could handle what was being asked during our conversation and I could hang up feel rest assured I was in good hands no matter what the case may be. Sorry to leave State Farm but not sorry I am walking away from an agent who can’t reassure and make me feel like my business is in good prompt care."
