"I had insurance for a short period with first group. They issued me a policy through progressive and because of my needs I was in contact with them once a month. When I found insurance for $90 less a month I contacted them to terminate my coverage on a set date and remove the automatic payments. The account didn't get cancelled until I called back about the payment that came out that shouldn't have. So my policy gets cancelled and progressive had already taken their premium I figured they would return the remaining money quickly. I ended up paying through the nose because several discount (auto pay being one) were removed and I was also charged a 50 dollar cancellation fee that I was never even told about. It just seems that there is not as much organization as bigger providers and a lot of important information lack cancellation fees and other fees lost in translation."
