"Help Save Pets-Ohio has been the nicest and most understanding people. They treated us with absolute respect and took such great care of our 3 furr-babies when we took them to get spayed, neutered and shots. They hadn’t really been out of our house since we actually found them as tiny newborns just over a year ago. So they were scared and just not happy. We were really nervous also. When we arrived at the location and got all 3 kitties inside, (FYI: They do have Pet Carriers you can borrow while there if you need them) it was pretty loud because they accept both cats and dogs. One of our male kitties wasn’t really calming down much and the woman who was helping us throughout the appointment actually got this calming spray for him. And it did actually worked and that really helped us also bc we were also very nervous leaving them there. Got a text that afternoon saying they were all done and that were could head that way to pick them up. Got back there pretty quick, the same woman from the morning explained to us what all was done, what medications and shots they each had received. Each got a folder with their rabies tags and all the info for each kitty. Overall, this was a nerve wracking experience, but all the people there definitely helped to make it as comfortable as it could be for everyone. I highly recommend anyone who with cats or dogs to definitely check them out. They actually do care about your fury family members. I’ve read through the other reviews on here but the few negative ones I do see are mainly for trying to get rid of their pet & not actually the Mobile unit appointments. I do not agree with the comments about the rude people or whatever bc everyone there was very friendly and supportive. FYI: This was ran by Help Save Pets-Ohio, but not in their actual office. Services we’re actually done by Rascals Mobile Unit at one specific location. They do offer many different locations around Columbus, OH. Just check out their actual website for more info."
"Save Ohio Pets are Amazing. I have three cats. All with different needs. All my cat owners out there know cats are expensive if cared for properly. Save Ohio Pets have come through for me on several occasions. I am truly grateful for all they do."
"They really took care of my cat and dogs throughout my whole experience with them,I haven't been able to make contact with anyone in a while, the numbers I had no longer work"
"I felt that my dog, Buddy, needed to be seen as he had bright red bloody stool. My regular vet couldn't get him in until following week and referred me to Help Save Pets; I was able to be seen right away. Everyone was so friendly. The vet was knowledgeable and provided options. Great service and follow-up. My son uses the regular vet services here and thinks highly of their care."
"It's a nice little animal clinic that shelters orphan pets for adoption. My complaint is that they close too early on Sundays (at 4pm). They should give an extra hour or two to the public. We went there right at 4pm the first time and were able to walk-in only to be turned away. The second time, we went earlier on Sunday, hoping to look at dogs. They were out of dogs to be adopted. My husband was mad (he was with me both times and was also disappointed those two times but fortunately, we met the cat of our dreams: a 3 yr. old Maine Coon mix and fell in love, so this place isn't all that bad... The staff was nice, although they put us in coat closet at first with no where to sit but the dirty tiled floor. :( They need chairs in that room. It's amazing how much animals can take a not so great experience and change it into something wonderful."
