"The worst place to custom a cake. The first time, they messed up my order. The print was not what we ordered. This time, the old lady at the bakery was on her cell phone for a long time while we were waiting for her. After she finished her call, she didn't apologize for making us wait but talked to us from a far distance with a bad attitude for no reason. I don't know if she is a racist or just had a bad coversation over her phone. We felt no respect at all and left without ordering anything. We went to Giant Eagle bakery nearby and made our custom cake there. The person at Giant Eagle bakery was very nice and treated us friendly. We spent $40 for a customized cake with a pleasant experience not for being treated with disrespect. Never go back to Meijer bakery again to order any cake."

"Convenient for being open late hours and for the DMV kiosk. They usually have everything we want for groceries and everyone there is friendly and helpful. The prices are pretty decent throughout the store. The housewares and small appliances areas can be a bit disorganized. Sometimes there are products on shelves but no price tags that seem to match that particular item. The seating area for what looks like it once sat next to a snack bar is... odd."

"This is literally one of my favorite stores to go shopping at. As a suffer from extreme anxiety, this story is actually a peaceful experience for me. Between the store layout and the atmosphere as well as the community it just makes for a good shopping experience. The employees and staff are always helpful and quite professional. "This used to be one of my favorite stores. Note the word used to be. It definitely has gone down hill. I go in after working second shift so I do love that they are open till midnight. However sometimes I question why I even bother. The store is always dirty looking. Milk and eggs are always almost empty. I like to buy born free eggs and they are always out of stock. Not to mention the employees stocking block the aisles with their stuff. I try to say excuse me to get by but most of them have ear buds in and don't hear me. Several of them smell of weed and act like they aren't there to help customers. Then they never have a register open they want everyone to use self serve. I just wish the store was like it was when it opened. It was so much cleaner and nicer to shop in"
