"I had an issue with a grant I was told I wouldn’t receive each semester for maintaining a 2.0 or above gpa. I was told it would come in monthly checks and then told it comes at the end of the semester in a bank mobile app. When I received my fall papers to sign it said I would owe the school 475$ without a grant. I took my copy in and they fixed it but when I got ahold of someone about the grant they said it goes to the school so I do not owe anything each semester. My only issue is I was told different, they said I would receive this grant to pay for books and things I’d need. I went too see joe today in financial and he explained that I was told wrong the grant is to cover the money I’d pay each semester. I will say he “made it right” the best he could for the miscommunication. I appreciate that but I hope this miscommunication can be avoided in the future with other students it was a frustrating issue."
