Although I became his patient, he did not return any of my phone calls or make any attempt to contact me in last thirty days. It took a long time for me to summons up the courage to ask for professional help. Dr. Pentz is not professional and absolutely no help."

"Love this place…. the doctors, front desk ladies, and everyone else I have interacted with at the Affinity Center has been extremely nice and helpful - especially regarding my treatment. Like others have mentioned - it was an expensive process to get tested and treated, but all healthcare is expensive and mental health is extremely important… the price is negligible when you account for the benefits."

"First, I have been a patient for about ten years now. My experience has been that the office staff are all fantastic, and considering how difficult I can be (and likely how many difficult people they must deal with daily - we ADHD folks aren't known for being the easiest to deal with) I honestly do not envy them, however they have always been extremely helpful to me. Dr. Pentz has been my therapist and I can honestly say, no matter my mood prior to speaking with him, afterward I am always facing things with a great outlook. I don't know how exactly to say this but.. his viewpoint or interpretation or what-have-you is just... different from my own, and the result is always that he gets me looking at things in a much more calming and satisfying light. I am doing a poor job of explaining what I want to say, but that is the best I can do at the moment. He is awesome at taking my whirlwind and focusing it into a breeze. I do want to address some of the negative reviews. I do actually understand where some people may have had problems, as I have had some (although really very few over ten years) issues regarding communication (I believe this is because they try to have all necessary ADHD services available in one location, so there are occasionally behind the scenes confusion). Second, yes, the initial treatment process was rather long (in comparison to doctors I had seen prior) however, and this is a big HOWEVER, for me this was very beneficial. I had been diagnosed ADHD prior to coming to the affinity center, one doctor I went to prior to coming to Affinity Center met 15 minutes and then wrote up a prescription, another refused to listen to my complaints about a medication I was taking and associated issues... Anyway, in short, after my few initial meetings, and Dr. Pentz meeting separately with one of my parents and actually being able to get them to understand my issues in a way that I never could, focusing on my past medication history etc. The end result was that on their first attempt at a medication schedule, I found peace and a sense of sanity. In my opinion, this is why the initial process is so long, an attempt to find the correct approach as well as treatment overall, which takes time and should take time. In the end, I can't say how greatful I really am for the whole staff at the Affinity Center. They taught me early on that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the way that I am, that ADHD people and their issues are not problems to be solved but rather unique contributors to society. They got me to stop feeling as if I always had to apologize for the way that I am."

"ZERO STARS. This place is a SCAM. Can't believe how much money they took from me for such horrible service and communication. Makes me doubt that the results of the testing are even accurate! DO NOT GO HERE. I have never had to deal with a place that doesn't understand basic professional communication and actually providing service in a timely manner. If you need ADHD help, DO NOT GO HERE. It took two months to get the report for my daughter after her testing. I emailed and called countless times. Always was given the run around. Never any answers and they could never tell me when I would get the report. Dr. Ripley and Dr. Pentz do not know how to communicate with people. I did not get any response until I contacted the Better Business Bureau and notified the State of Ohio Psychology Board. This place should be shut down."

"I honestly wish I could give this place 0 stars. I have never encountered a more unprofessional experience with an established business. I went 4 months from my initial consult waiting to hear back from the psychologist I had been paired with. After numerous emails and phone calls and nothing in return, I finally got ahold of someone and they paired me with a new psychologist. The lack of communication persisted. They told me i had to come in for testing. They administered the wrong test. They never gave me answers and at the end of each session told me I couldn’t get a diagnosis until I came to another session. 6 months after my initial consultation and numerous emails begging for the results of my testing, I finally received a diagnosis. It was sent to me via email and read to me over zoom. Even after asking for resources how to proceed with this diagnosis, I received absolutely nothing other than a large bill. I have never written a google review before but my experience with this place was so unbelievably appalling that I had to warn others THIS PLACE IS A SCAM."
