Reviews
"First of all, the negative reviews on here are given by people with no medical experience and no knowledge of how the process works. The one review that says they will not service the working class only the rich because they can afford to sit in the lobby all day is absolutely hilarious! And ignorant. As a healthcare professional, I have never been treated with more respect and care and compassion that I was at this endoscopy center. It was my first time having this procedure done and I was very nervous. Not only did they make me feel very comfortable and safe, but they were kind and compassionate and professional from the minute I entered the center. I will never go anywhere else. So please ignore the other reviews because they are definitely skewed and inaccurate and falsely misleading."
"The perfect storm of an overabundance of arrogance and self-esteem colliding with a total void of empathy looms within the support staff. We felt like cargo being moved about by disinterested, sanctimonious dock workers. Contrastingly, the doctors seem competent and caring."
"I just had an upper endoscopy this morning and I want to say that this place was really great. I was suuuuper scared because I've never had a scope before, but everyone was so nice and polite from the receptionist to the prep nurse to the anesthetist and the other nurses involved in my procedure and the discharge nurse. Of course my doctor is really nice too. Everyone made me feel really safe and they were so happy and pleasant and made me smile. It was over in a snap, I had no clue, I was dreaming about being at work and then the nurse was like, time to wake up, you're done! And I had a quick drink of water and I was already ready to get dressed and leave! It was really awesome. If you are scared, don't be too worried, it was a great experience for me."
"They did not let me see my husband in recovery even when he was taking longer than normal to come out of anesthesia. The doctor talks to patients while they are still out of it. Rude and uncaring. I'm sure my husband does not remember doctor coming into room!!! Go anywhere else. They refused to give him something for sickness before anesthesia but they said he did not need it. He threw up before he left and all the way home. They did not send him home with a tray to throw up in so had to stop and let him lean out of car! I had tried to call him while in recovery and they got into his personal things, got his phone and turned off ringer. He missed calls all that day because ringer was off!!!"
"My husband had his procedures done here and first let me say that his experience with Dr. Peck and the staff in the back was great. However my experience in the waiting room overshadowed any good to come from our time spent here. I was told that I must remain in the lobby the whole time, could not even wait in the car and if I left the waiting room they would not start my husbands procedure. (I do understand they don't want to have to track down peoples ride's when they are done) My issue with this is I needed to get a coffee(migraine sufferer) it was 8:00 in the morning his procedure was due to start at 9:00 but that was met with no you cannot leave. I ask do you have somewhere in here that I can get a coffee. No they did not. When the person came to take my husband for his procedure I informed her that I would like to just run and get a coffee while they did the prep work and I would be right back. Once again "no they would not get started if I left" as she made a motion to the receptionist as if to keep an eye out if I left. The waiting room had no TV, was on the smaller side, crowded with family members all required to wear masks while the employees behind their glass petition/wall appeared to have the opportunity to take their mask down as some did. This all felt wrong on so many levels and it would appear there is a lot of room for improvement . Just my opinion for what it's worth."
