"Our 10 year old cat had stopped eating for several days after its annual check up and shots last November (2020) at the Mantua location. I notified the Mantua office of the problem of the cat not eating and I was told to stop by and they would have an oral prescription solution ready that would stimulate her appetite. The next day I stopped by and was charged $50.00 for a very small (15 ML) container of Capromorelin. Our female cat then started eating again so I put the med away in a cabinet never having actually opened the box or reading the information paper inside of the box. My bad!! The information sheet specifically states that the medicine is for DOGS only! It also states this on the back of the medicine box which I didn’t notice until I just recently removed the medicine box from the cabinet. I googled the medicine name and there is a fairly strong worded warning about NOT giving this medicine to CATS! We now take our cat to a different veterinarian."
