Welcome to Bracken County Animal Shelter, located at 188 Hamilton Road in Brooksville, Kentucky, United States. We are thrilled to announce that the pit bull ban in Bracken County has been repealed, thanks to the recent vote by the Bracken County Fiscal Court.
As a small rural shelter, we are dedicated to the safety and well-being of all animals in the county, including the dogs that reside in our shelter. Our team works tirelessly to provide care and love to these animals, but we rely on donations to meet their needs. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please visit the link provided to fill out an application. Adoption fees are $40, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered within 30 days of adoption.
BCAIN, a 501(c)(3) organization, was established to support the Bracken County Animal Shelter and all animals in the county. If you want to join this group and help provide a safe home for all animals, consider attending our meetings in 2024 at the Bracken County Extension Office in Brooksville.
We are constantly working to improve the lives of the dogs in our care, with the help of dedicated volunteers and Animal Control Officer Robbin Snapp. Stay updated on our progress and support our mission to provide a loving home for every furry friend.
