"I have had cataracts since I was 55 years old. I had one eye operated on and waited to get the second eye done which was just as bad as the first eye. After 10 years I saw Dr. Varley and requested to put in a 20/20 multi focal lens. The doc was very put off and said I had to be checked if I could tolerate multi focal. They put contacts on me and after spending $500 on contacts and misc. they checked my eyes and said they were not bad enough to have the surgery. I am now completely blind in the left eye but refuse to go back to Cincinnati Eye In."

"Very rude with me, would not answer my questions. Tried to down play my condition. Tried to perform procedures on me without telling what he was doing and then yelled at me when I stopped them and asked what they were doing. He tried to make it seem like I was refusing treatment. Promised my vision would get better 6 months out from surgery and vision has gotten worse. The tech made sure to point out that I had Medicaid during my visits. What am I supposed to have if my vision and dry eye are so bad that I can no longer work? He refused to treat my dry eye told me just to wait it out, when it became so unbearable I called the office and Dr Varley told the tech that he did not want to treat my dry eye, so I saw someone else in the practice for that and he sent me back to Dr Varley. When I went back to see him he had an attitude about me seeing the other doc. I had lasik done else where where they messed my vision up and told me they couldn't fix my vision and Dr Varley says I should return there, bc he doesn't want to deal with the problems. Very unprofessional and cold."
