"I really wanted to love this place and feel like they were helping my dog, but I just can’t. I took my dog here in the beginning of the year and as a broke college student I wish I didn’t. They wanted to heavily medicate my dog and do “training”. The doctor told me that my dog should not go on walks anymore since she gets anxiety, she should never be around other dogs, and her resource guarding should be fixed by us basically letting her do whatever she wants. After 2 training sessions of us doing click and treat work, I felt like I had wasted my money. My dog absolutely loves training and she did not like coming here. Our last session, they had us leave because I did not medicate her and they told me she was too stressed to continue. I ended up taking her to another training facility and now she walks and plays with other dogs, loves going on walks, and her resource guarding is 95% fixed. She loves her trainer and even goes to daycare to spend the day with her. I’m not one to leave reviews but I wasted so much money on this place that I cannot get back. The only thing I will say is the staff here are very quick to give you a call back when you have an issue and they will talk to you as long as you need. I don’t want anyone to waste money like I did because it is very expensive."

"I don't typically leave negative reviews unless very specific issues arise, and I certainly won't fault an entire establishment for the actions of one individual. However, I must express my disappointment with this company and specifically caution others about two particular aspects of dealing with them. Firstly, this company is heavily endorsed by veterinarians, akin to the exorbitantly priced pet food displayed prominently in veterinary lobbies – the ones they claim are the only options that won't harm your pet. Well, these trainers, it seems, are the dog food equivalent in their industry. The second and more troubling issue is their lack of professionalism in communication. They don't answer the phone, making it nearly impossible to reach them, and force you to resort to email. It's as if their operation is run on TikTok, catering to a much younger demographic, rather than maintaining a professional stance. If you're considering their services, you may want to look elsewhere, to an organization that operates with a clear sense of professionalism. I hope my experience proves to be an exception, especially since this company came highly recommended by our veterinarian. If things change, I will gladly revise this review. But until then, proceed with caution."

"I would recommend the staff here to anyone who is struggling with their pets behavior. After seeing multiple trainers with my dog, I was growing hopeless with his dog reactivity. I wasn't sure it would ever improve. For the first time in a very long time, we're beginning to see progress. My dogs quality of life is notably improving too. I do my best to stay educated on dog behavior, but I'm blown away by the knowledge and compassion of the staff. We genuinely enjoy our visits and I feel prepared to keep training. Highly recommend!! "After only 2 training sessions with Amanda we have seen a substantial improvement with our 2 year old lab. Our lab is fearful, reactive/aggressive in our house. We started seeing results after the very first session of Amanda training us. Having a reactive dog can be such a anxious, isolating experience. Trust me, it doesn't have to be like that! We went from barking, lunging and jumping up glass windows at anyone who went by to calmly watching landscapers, neighbors, and even people working on our deck. I would recommend The Behavior Clinic to anyone looking for assistance with behavior modification. Can't wait to discover what the next few months bring."
