"I started seeing Dr. Q about a year after moving to Peebles, as I was in desperate need of a local primary care physician. I was a patient for about 5 years before I made the decision to switch to a different doctor. My main reasoning in switching doctors was the fact that in order to get basic refills on my “maintenance medications”, like for blood pressure and thyroid, I had to come in for a visit every single month instead of just doing a 90 day supply and having me come in once every 3 months. Who has the time or money for that? Especially when he NEVER spent more than 3 minutes (if that!) with you in the examining room! I spent more time in the little triage room getting my blood pressure and weight checked! Also, if you had any important plans for the rest of the day, you might as well cancel them because you won’t be going anywhere any time soon. I once had an appointment at 11am and didn’t get out of there until around 3:30 in the afternoon, and was late picking my kids up from school! Over the years I would constantly have labs done and tests, and would never even know my results because I would never be called about them or could even get the chance to discuss them during appointments. Dr. Q isn’t a terrible doctor, but there is a lot that could be improved on! At least get some decent WiFi for your patients when they have to sit and wait hours for their appointments! The whole building could use a good scrubbing and a fresh coat of paint, as well as some new equipment! It feels like the 80’s never left that place."

"I have going to Dr. Quraishi for 20-30 years I have always been treated very well. He has diagnosed me with the right diagnosis each time ,referred me to excellent specialist if needed and listens to you closely to understand your issues. Sure sometimes they are a little wait time , he has patients from all around the county and surrounding counties coming because he is good.He tries to squeeze everyone in as they need him. I would rather wait a little while and get into see him when needed than wait another week when it might be to late."
