Reviews of Mayfield Brain & Spine | Green Township
"Horrible service from both the front and back office. First off, there are 2 women sitting at a desk watching you check yourself into a kiosk. No human interaction. I feel sorry for anyone elderly who isn't tech savvy. Then after seeing the Doctor I was told someone would come in to schedule my epidural instead a girl runs in basically throws a business card at me and says call us when you get it scheduled as she's running back out the door. I had to ask her how to schedule and she basically yelled "they'll call you". This is unacceptable service from so called health professionals. The people coming into your office are in pain and need help, treat them with some grace and respect. Training and a little empathy will go along way to help your current reputation."
"Let me start out by saying dr.temple is the best doctor you could ever fine with that being said mayfield is a money hungry organization they most definitely put money ahead of you well-being and quality of life I’m sorry but I truly think that is just wrong"
"Started going to Mayfield for a broken rod in my back and adjacent segment issues. After several months of never seeing an actual doctor in office, and failed injections, they were surprised to learn I had a broken rod in my back????.....even though that is why I was originally sent there, with imaging done. Was told my original bone fusion looked fine in April, then in October was told that part of my spine never fused. No one there looks at imaging or apparently can be bothered to do so. My last visit I was told they would consult an actual doctor and call me back. Not sure why I couldn't physically sit with one? It's been 7 weeks since then and have heard nothing. I had injections in my back which caused a spinal fluid leak, they argued for 3 weeks and assured me they "never make mistakes". Then finally decided to do a blood patch after 3 weeks of debilitating headaches. No one communicates or knows what is going on between departments and they seem annoyed by each other's opinions."
"I made the mistake of coming to Mayfield for lower back pain. The only thing they did was tell me what my primary doctor already told me. The only reason I even went there is because the appointment my primary doctors had made for a neurosurgeon was too far out and I was in too much pain. Anytime I try to call Mayfield I get sent to a voicemail and then when I do have an appointment they come in for 5 minutes tell you stuff you already know and then charge you $250. I've heard nothing but great things from some people but my experience has been horrible so far. I'm trying to figure out how to get my records back over to Christ hospital since that's where Mayfield sent me for an epidural to begin with. I should have never went there. I am also pretty sure the five-star reviews with no text are Bots or conflicts of interest."
"I was very worried about having back surgery but I Mayfield was recommended by a friend. I was tired of the back pain and the restrictions the pain caused so I decided it was time. Dr McPherson did my surgery and from the first time I met him when he explained the procedure I felt better about it, but then all the people that gave him such great compliments from medical personnel to friends I later learned he operated on I felt confident. Surgery went very good and then I started therapy. Great therapists Audra and Dave were so helpful and so professional. I would highly recommend Mayfield surgeons and therapists."
