"Engages in deceitful billing practices. Went in for an annual wellness visit, which was 100% covered by my insurance. A few weeks later I was surprised to receive a bill for the said visit. When I called back to inquire, TriHealth rep said, "You may have talked about something that was not covered by your wellness visit." Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? When the attending doctor/nurse practitioner asks you, "How are you doing? What are your health concerns, etc.?" and then you have a conversation, it apparently constitutes a office visit and outside the scope of annual exam. Here you are chatting about your health concerns during your annual exam and suddenly you've wandered into an "office visit". The attending doctor identifies this paradigm shift, but doesn't tell you. You'll only find out when you get a surprise bill in the mail a few weeks later. So regardless of how wonderful / awful the actual experience was at the doctor's office, this deceitful practice makes for an awful experience. They do have super duper large single TV screen that spans an entire wall with a nature background and soothing music, while you're being led from a covered insurance benefit to a chargeable one."

I recently went on-line to schedule an appointment for an annual physical and some current issues troubling me. I received a call from the nurse practitioner shortly after that who asked some questions about my current issue and requested I go in that afternoon. I believe they all genuinely care for the well-being of their patients."
