Reviews of Dedicated Senior Medical Center
"I love my Doctor and the associates that works there and the attention that they give all the people that come in there for care. Doctor Thompson is an Angel because she really cares for her patients and her coworkers. Thanks to All even those who are not seen. Thank you again"
"My parents are both patients at the Colerain location seen by NP Stawa Blanco. My dad recently had a stroke which ultimately landed him an extended hospital stay as well as a short term stay in a rehab center. Due to the age of my parents and current circumstances we decided that I needed to be more involved in my dad’s healthcare. I work full-time and appointments are usually while I’m working so I spoke i with front desk staff about faxing in FMLA paperwork. Paper work was never completed. Stawa made some comments to my parents about not knowing me. So during a recent visit my mom thought to just put me on FaceTime as I was working however Stawa was extremely rude. Making a comment that I wasn’t her patient and that my doctor needed to fill out the paperwork. Also, that “we both know your dad doesn’t work anymore”.She wouldn’t even let me explain and abruptly got off the phone. Due not be able to provide completed documentation I was denied through my job so I followed up some speaking with Michelle I believe and I explained what I was trying to get accomplished. She said she needed to verify with my parents and call me back as I was not listed as an emergency contact which I totally understood. She called me back verified that she had spoke with my mom . She then told me to fax the paperwork back in and she would make sure it was completed. Weeks went by again and I nor the HR department at my job received anything. Once again I called to follow up. The front desk couldn’t comprehend the fact that I wasn’t trying to get any patient info but was simply trying to follow up on my documentation request. I asked to speak with Michelle and she did get on the phone. She was aware of who I was and the situation however she stated Stawa wouldn’t complete the paperwork. She stated Stawa wanted me to come in with my parents. My response to her was why couldn’t someone have told me that weeks ago instead of having me waiting and ultimately being denied again. It was just mind blowing. I had even asked to speak with Dr. Thompson to express my concerns and to see if I can get a resolution. Per Michelle Dr. Thompson went with the fact I needed to come in with my parents to get the paperwork completed. As a 20 year healthcare worker this is very disheartening to be treated so rude and unprofessionally. What happened to family center care? Both my parents are over 70 years old. My mom has hearing aids. Due to this new stroke my dad has hearing loss and will be using a hearing aid. My parents are pretty upset and can not even understand what this huge issue is and have tried to advocate. I did not even discuss the day my dad had the stroke and the interactions/events of that day as he was at the office. A little compassion goes a long way. I don’t know how “Dedicated” this place is. Although is my parents choice I hope they consider either another location or another practice in general."
"My medical needs are addressed and there are social workers to help with other social needs. Dare I say "Dedicated Senior is full service"."
"My entire family of seniors including myself are so extremely proud to be clients/ patients of DEDICATED! Their expertise, care, kindness and complete staff is not matchable!! Thanks DEDICATED."
