"I requested a prescription refill because I thought that I had 0 left with the pharmacy and knew I would be out in a week. The clinic sent me a message saying they called my prescription in. Then a couple days later I get a call (from a doctor I've never met). He left a message to call him back, so I did but couldn't reach him. So I called the pharmacy to see if they knew what was going on, that's how I found out I actually still had 1 refill left, obviously I felt pretty silly. So when this dr. called me again I already knew why, but he would hardly even let me talk. The way he spoke sounded very accusatory, like I was trying to get more meds when I had plenty left. It was kind of uncomfortable. Finally he let me talk and I told him about the mix up and that it was my fault, but I'd already figured it out with the pharmacy. Then the awkward conversation was abruptly ended by him. I don't know why they didn't just tell me through the portal that I still had a refill left instead. Maybe they deal with a lot of addicts and don't have someone ever just make an honest mistake?"

It doesn't mean we will always agree but that she will listen. And that means everything to me. Thank you Dr. Adams!!"
