"Made me wait in an office room waiting to see the doctor for 70 minutes because they had a patient that did not speak English. The the nurse had an attitude problem...stay away from these quacks!!! The nurse also said my BP was very high and just left me and never came back"
"Hope you like surprise fees that even if you get preapproved, don't get covered and you owe 5 times as much as you were told."
"Depends on what your expectations are. The doctors themselves are great, I would even say best in the business. It's the sticker shock afterward that will cause you to pass out. For years, my family & I only needed general PCP care. Recently, we've needed to see orthopedics & ENT. Then received a $1,400 bill for just two visits!!! This was AFTER insurance paid. Looking closely at the details, UC bills patients twice for everything: an office visit from the doctor and then another office visit from the hospital for "using their facility" all for just one office visit. If you get anything extra (cortisone shot, any small procedure done in the doctor office, etc.), they bill you twice again: one from the doctor and one from the facility for using the facility to get the other services. Basically, you will be getting billed TWICE for everything. How is this even legal??? Great doctors, horrible billing practices!!! So if money isn't an issue or you only see your primary care once a year, go right ahead. Otherwise, sit down before opening your next bill you get from UC."
"I just went in for my child’s immunizations. We were not seen by a doctor. Instead, two nurses rushed in the door. When I asked them what shots my child would be getting they said 4. I asked if these shots would catch my child up on immunizations for kindergarten. They said they were unable to answer that question. I then asked what immunizations my child would be receiving: they listed them. Had I not asked that question, my child would have received an additional flu vaccine (we had gotten one at Walgreens). Why didn’t someone ask if we had received the ever prevalent and promoted flu vaccine? Why did the practitioner we met with refuse to advise me at the time of appointment? Or, why are the individuals who are administering the vaccinations not allowed to offer guidance regarding the very act they are performing (the vaccination)? ^^That is a question of practice competency and the ability of a patient to receive well informed cooperative care they are paying for, and the practitioner is being paid to provide^^ Essentially the answer I received to my questions was “We’re only following orders.” Low quality of care here."
"Not happy at all. Was charged a $225 new patient fee and it was a surprise on my bill. I still don't have any answers about my problem and your website even says this " Diagnoses related to dizziness can be elusive. You may have felt misdiagnosed, unheard or even ignored. But we won’t stop until we identify the cause of your problem and make sure you understand your options and feel comfortable with next steps." I left there feeling even worse than going in. The epley maneuver was performed on me and didn't work and my neck hurt for 2 weeks after. I was told by a PA that I needed to get a sleep study just because I said that I'm tired during the day. I told her that I evaluate people all day for sleep studies and that I didn't need one. I told her that I'm tired because I'm raising my granddaughter and she wears me out and that my husband snores and keeps me awake half the night and he's the one who needs a sleep study. No reply except, "get a sleep study." I left there with no answers and no next step except for the sleep study thing. My having vertigo for the last 2 years is not related to her thinking I need a sleep study. No answers and I feel totally ripped off with my $701.00 out of pocket bill. My insurance did pay over $5000 for some ridiculous testing not worth that amount. And $225 of the bill is for the sleep study pusher looking in my ears, nose and mouth and telling me to get a sleep study. Oh and she told me that all my testing was normal even though I already the that because the women doing my testing told me everything was normal. But NO! I had to go to another room so I could be charged $225 more for something I already knew. Such a rip off. It's really all about making that all mighty dollar. I will never go back to your office and I will tell all my friends because no one should be billed this amount and not get any other options."
