"If I could give less than a star I would. I went in on a Sunday morning (Christmas Eve) having had a medium fever for 3 days straight. Felt really bad. So I decided I needed to get looked at. My doctor was not in due to it being the holidays so I went to Adena Urgent Care since they were open. Once I got into the exam room, before being seen, the PA ordered a covid test and a flu test before he even came into the room. Once he did come in, they did a kidney infection test since I had a history of that before (no complaints about that). Nothing found. He examined me by listening to my lungs (nothing found) and looked in my ears and nose for a split second (nothing found) and pushed around on my organs a bit (nothing found). Said all was fine. He didn't know why I had a fever so suggested getting a chest xray but I said you heard nothing so no reason to do that. He just said he didn't know what was causing my fever and would just have to let ride to see if anything else happens. Didn't give me anything. The fever just kept getting worse. Finally my actual doctor was in the following Wednesday and got in to be seen. One look in my left ear and I was told, Oh my, you have a major Ear infection!!! Bingo. No reason the Adena PA shouldn't have caught that except that he didn't even look in my ear for like a split second. My doctor prescribed antibotics and all was well. Now, I owe a very large bill to Adena Urgent Care who did absolutely nothing except some useless tests BEFORE I was even seen by anyone. How could you miss a major ear infection unless you were in too big a hurry to even pay attention. Also, even if they did catch the ear infection, I would still be on the hook for a covid test and flu test (unless they are free which I doubt) that wasn't even needed since they did that before even being seen. All he had to do was do a better job looking in my ears first... before running any tests. I usually don't write bad reviews but I just received the bill (ouch) from them today for basically doing nothing and don't want to see others go through the same thing. Just a warning. Maybe other Doctors there are more thorough. Your milage may vary."
"I ended up in urgent care from stepping on old nails. I didn’t wait long and when put in a room, was told how many people were ahead of me so I knew about how long the wait would be. Probably waited about 30 minutes. Everyone was very kind and helpful."
"Jesse is a joke. Went cause felt bad. He said I had the flu without running a flu test. This after several time telling them I suffer sinus infections. Didn't feel any better 4 day later so went back and he told me I can be seen again but if symptoms are the same my return to work stands. Begged my doctor to see me and found out I didn't have the flu but was my sinus and touch of bronchitis. Got antibiotics and now feel decent. No bed side manners, don't listen to patients, and bad manners. Never go back."
"Went their today around 830 am I have diverticulitis and currently an going through a flair up. They refused to treat me saying that it's my appendix which is quite common symptoms wise. After refusing to treat me was asked if there was anything else they could do to help me I requested a doctors excuse for missing 3 days of work and was told that he will not do that either. Keep in mind diverticulitis itself without proper treatment can result in complications thats could be fatal if left un checked and for a doctor to understand the illness and refuse treatment they are going against their oath and are willing to let you possibly die. Worse part is they are still gonna charge me for tgeir time even though they literally didnt do anything but what i mentioned above. Also update on my condition its been two days since this incident I went to West Main urgent care they prescribed me some heavy duty antibiotics and I am on my road to recover pain and symptoms have drop from a 7 or 8 to a 3 to 4 and able to use the restroom again. Please If any of the adena personnel read this if you take anything from this listen to your patient sometime we know what we need not just force us to sign a paper saying I refused treatment which was me going to the Er so all liability is off of you if something bad happen to me and yes that was a legit paper they had me sign. Can't give place a zero but they do not value your life on the urgent care side."
"Went in for what I thought was pink eye. Got in a room quickly. Wait time was written on the white board and overall waited about that time which wasn't much different then a normal doctor visit. The staff and doctor on hand was great. Got my prescription and was on my way."
