"Not pet friendly even to federally registered service animals which is completely wrong and illegal but didn't feel like arguing so had to leave animal with local family member. This caused some personal issues that thankfully were able to be maintained. Was told $100 fine if I was seen or caught having my service animal present at any time."

"Experienced Racism’s in this hotel by a skinny white lady, did my reservations in booking, reservation had the official time of check out @ 11:30AM, hotel try to force an earlier check out 11AM, staff called me 11:20 asking me we should get out of the hotel immediately, it was very disrespectful, Sadly I started to notice everything was racially motivated once I told them I was in the shower but they kept asking us to get out screaming, they also mention that they were going to call the police. Everyone know calling the police unnecessary on people of color can be a death sentence in the word we live today. There was no understanding compassion, or professionalism in their responses. I have experience working in hospitality myself, it’s never the protocol dealing with costumer. I was very respectful communicating with the Karen in this location Police arrived at 11:45AM Gladly we exit the hotel escorted out by the police safe. It could have gone south any moment. I called the sheriffs department for the video interaction with the hotel in Americas best value inn Ashtabula/ Austinburg and the only way I can get a hold of it is with a lawyer. Disappointed to have such a wall from getting such public records. I will keep exploring other options. Please be careful with this type of hotels if you are a person of color. Racism is all over management in this location. When you check reviews you can see they have an excuse for everything, very dishonest."

"Checked in after 10 hrs of driving. 2 queen beds. Key card worked sporadically. Hair in sink. Most disgusting was the blood/vomit/urine? At headboard over the side. On bottom of frame cover, And bottom mattress cover and floor. Was approximately 8 inches wide and had 3 dimensional piece 3 in attached. I consider it a health Hazzard and the board of health should shut it down. Went to front desk and the clerk did not come to counter or get up until I requested to speak to her. She said I could go to another room..my husband was too tired to pack up so we slept in the second bed. The key card did not work at all in the morning. I took photos to show the board of health and corporate headquarters. We do NOT need lesson to use key card. It worked the night of arrival . The stains on the sheets were NOT coffee. It was red and yellow and the solidified portion was removed by my husband to show the clerk. We were not satisfied enough to spend the night. We were relegated to do so because of exhaustion from driving and were awake all night thinking of all the germs and lack of cleanliness and spread of covid possibilities. Please don't try to diminish the severity of a dirty room....for $100.00!"

"We actually started to stay at a different hotel nearby, but the checking in attendant was rude so we went to AMERICAS BEST. So glad we did. The staff in the evening and morning were very sweet and friendly. Room was perfect. Breakfast was just what we needed. Definitely recommend."

"Staff was great. Friendly. I guess for the price it was OK. The beds were comfy with nice pillows. But, disappointing. There was mold in the shower and the toilet was not cleaned well. Otherwise, an inexpensive place to stay."
