Wilmington VA Clinic

"I have been receiving care at this veterans clinic since it opened. I have only had one subpar physician and that was due to a ver specific occasion and reason. Other than that they were okay. My second physician, which I miss, Was so awesome. Very attentive to annual exams and tests. Listened to what you needed. then there was a limbo of a permanent Primary Care Physician to where you had no choice but to be seen by Nurse Practitioners. Different one each visit. This sucks because, they just dont know you. Front desk staff is awesome and friendly. All the nurses have been really awesome, Friendly and attentive. Ive had a few hiccups throughout the years but none to warrant a lower review. Many people say the VA offers poor healthcare, however, I’ve been in the VA healthcare system since 1999 and 90% of the time have received good care. The only time I hadnt was because of a civilian doctor, seeing patients at the VA. Its like they care LESS because they cant bill an astronomical amount. So based on my care, and my care and experiences alone at this facility, 5 star for sure."

"If you work you’ll never be able to get seen due to their hours. Just another failed system the va has that’s suppose to take care of veterans but leaves you more confused and frustrated than before you called."
