"It really pains me to write a bad review about this school because the teachers were great and I enjoyed the material. But is it worth over $5,000 and a few months of your time? Absolutely not. In the end they took my money, strongly implying that I would be placed in a job by the end of the class, and that never happened. The only thing I got was a list of every factory in the area (some of them not even having CNC machines, most of them not even hiring at this level). I've been to several interviews and a lot of these places pay like a fast food restaurant and expect you to work long hours. If anyone is on the fence about it, I cannot recommend this school at all. Save your money. Edit: That was my initial impression after finishing the course. I have to bump them up a star because they didn't stop working at finding me employment and I got a job, not a great one, but a job. I still find their "Everyone is hiring and you can make good money" sales pitch to be highly misleading. It took me several months of fruitless interviews just to find a mediocre paying machine shop with mandatory overtime every week. This is not a lucrative industry to get into, and I still can't recommend the school, but I also can't blame them for the state of things around here. Solid 3/5 for effort."
"Would absolutely NOT recommend this school!!! It’s a waist of time and money. I signed up for the class with the understanding from the DIRECTOR that I would have Financial help. But when I showed up I was told I had to pay until I was able to get the financial help. Now they are trying to garnish my wages."
"As a veteran I qualified for a VRRAP program and the VA paid for my schooling through a grant and gave me a monthly allowance to live off of while in school. The director was very knowledgeable regarding the VA program and the application and admission process was seamless and easy."
"This is a great school in the area that teaches CNC. The teacher and administrators are all awesome and the class has been very useful"
"This is not comparable to an associates degree in industrial technology, applied science or even the beginning phases of an apprentice/journeyman ship. Worthelss certificate and laughing stock of corporations in the Akron area."
