"All four of my children have attended St Mary's in Wooster, and we feel so blessed there is this option here in town. The small size gives each student the chance to shine, and it does really feel like family. Father Steve and Mrs Marvin look out for the welfare of all students and provide opportunities to grow in faith and spirit. My children have played basketball, served at Mass, sung in the choir, and competed in Science Fair. They loved spirit days, field trips, and Field Day. "The staff and our teachers are truly exceptional! They simply care and we see that they enjoy their work. I couldn't find this level of care and safety even with two past schools (public & private). I'm writing a lot here because it's such a relief and we are grateful after serious problems we had at the other schools. Class size is 10 this year so that's nice of course. There are many resources to help our child succeed throughout the year to meet academic and social milestones such as speech, counseling, ed choice scholarships, extra help, semester reports, etc. For the religion aspect the kiddos attend Mass 1x a week and she has learned so much at church and in the classroom this year. We are a christian family. No one is ever pushy at this school about that, and I enjoy learning about both. Oh and the uniforms make our morning routine so much easier! The only thing I don't like is how recess is mixed ages and grades, but its like that at every school. My daughter said yesterday "this is the best school in the world" :) . Definitely check out this gem of a school and see if its a good fit!!"

"We made the decision to switch to St. Mary’s about a year ago and are so happy we did! The biggest benefit we’ve experienced is the small class size. With fewer kids in a room the teachers are able to give students more individual attention - whether that’s getting a student extra help when they need it or challenging them with more advanced work when they’re ready. The smaller groups are more efficient and can get more done in the time they have together (both in work and play!). As a result, they’re able to do more hands-on projects and incorporate additional classes (we love that they’re learning Spanish, for example). St. Mary’s has been a great environment for our kids - they are growing and thriving, and we couldn’t be happier!"

"We love St. Mary’s for so many reasons. We initially were going to send our child to public school then COVID hit. We knew our son needed to be in a structured environment to learn. We began to look for alternatives to the two day a week option the public schools offered. That’s when we decided to check out St. Mary’s School in Wooster. Due to their small class sizes at St.Mary’s, they were able to attend in person learning five days a week. We felt as though this was a great fit for our son at the time. We initially planned just to send him to St. Mary’s for one year until the pandemic was over .We then were planning to transition him back to public school the following year. We however, were so impressed with his progress in that one years time ,we signed him up again the following year. We now plan to have him attend through the eighth grade. Not only is St. Mary’s an exceptional school, but they also treat us like family. Our son also gets the one on one attention he needs to thrive. The staff have gone above and beyond our expectations in getting our son the necessary interventions he needs to succeed . We also love the fact he is getting a solid structured Christian education there as well .I can’t say enough good things about St. Mary’s School !!"
