"I'm posting this about 8 years after the fact, so this in-car instructor probably isn't there anymore. I believe his name was Will or Bill. Anyway, he fell asleep during my in-car, regularly lost his temper, and at one point had me drive to his son's work, then proceeded to get out of the car and leave me in the car for 30min or so. All of this was on time that should have been for practicing driving. But this isn't the worst part. When it was over, he had me pick up his next student, and she would drive me home. At one point, while this next girl was driving, a car cut her off and she hit the brakes. This guy proceeded to yell at her, and said, and I'm not exaggerating, "you should have hit them! Hit people that cut you off like that and get money back in court!" My mother did complain to the company, but nothing was done. The only reason I'm giving this trash a 2 star is because my next in-car instructor, David, was amazing. He taught me how to pass maneuverability, was always very calm and collected, gave perfect advice, and was like the opposite image of the other guy. Both of these men are probably retired by now, but I think it says alot about this driving school that they kept a guy like Will/Bill hired. Also, I know that my experience with him wasn't unusual, because I had friends my age that also experienced it. I even had one friend say the guy made racist remarks during the in-car. Are they really that short on incar drivers that they need to keep a guy like this hired?"
"My son took his driving classes through Heights Driving School and all were very professional and courteous. He had a great experience with his driver, Vicky. She was very encouraging and patient with him. Scheduling your drive time online was not easy, but giving them a call to schedule it over the phone was much easier. It was even easier once we had our driver. She scheduled it directly with us. This experience was much better than my daughters experience through Mentor Driving School. Those are rude people. All in all I recommend this driving school."
"The website has a highlighted blurb about calling a phone number to have your certificate printed. Need this to even take the take. Website is so convoluted. What an awful experience. Wasted 4 weeks now to reschedule the test because we didn't read this blurb. Why the school doesn't just send you the certificate after driving hours are complete is beyond me. At least tell the kids they need to call the number or give them a simple piece of paper with the number on it to the drivers so that they can give to the kids after their last in-car. What a disaster of a process. Communication is a zero."
"Very rude, impatient and aggressive instructor. He will confront you when you do something wrong, and maybe grab the steering wheel while he's at it, but will not show you how to to prevent it from happening again, and will lecture you on his philosophy instead of teaching you how to drive. Also takes very long to schedule appointments."
"I was treated terribly by the man running the class in front of all the students there. He was extremely rude and disrespectful towards me and I will NEVER return to this location. After other people in th class said they couldn’t find the location as well he said oh well I’m not waiting for you. I advise other people of color to stay away from this location because I do believe I was only treated this way due to my skin color."
