"Nice size Campus and nice inside."
"The Westshore Campus of CCC is a nearly new, state of the art educational facility at which I teach adult musical classes on Rock and Roll history. I am thoroughly impressed with the electronics available for teaching and learning on site. This facility is a wonderful community asset!!"
"I'm going to be honest. I have no problem with Tri-C. There were a few classes I’ve taken there and I absolutely enjoyed them. Westshore Campus is also a wonderful campus. I have no complaints about the location. but I do have a problem with the Nursing Program… If you're a STNA who wants to pursue a degree in nursing, then you're better off going to Lorain County Community College… Tri-C basically forces STNAs to take a class called Patient Care Concepts (NURS-1010) that basically teaches you how to be a STNA. I like the idea ONLY for those that have no healthcare experience… why jump into the nursing program if you have no patient care experience? Right? So the class is definitely for those that are inexperience with Patient Care NOT for those that are already in the ODH Nurse Aide Registry (and also in good standing without it being revoked or expired) . The Nursing Program itself needs some adjustments. Other than that, I love Tri-C!"
"This review pertains mostly to the TLC at this particular campus. The building and grounds are beautiful and well maintained and the facilities are great. However... The hours for the TLC are different than every other campus and aren’t listed on the website. They have laughably inconvenient closing times. I’m in the MET program and use the TLC primarily to work on autocad projects. However, for whatever reason, this particular campus does not carry autocad on their standard computers. Odd, considering they offer engineering classes here. I brought this to their attention on two separate occasions before anything was done. Now, two computers in the entire building have autocad on them. I only know where one of them is, because none of the staff were able to actually direct me to which two had the program installed on them. I had to log into each one before I could decipher it myself. There appears to be absolutely no communication between the staff at this location. No follow through, no cooperation. This is frustrating because according to Tri C’s own program directors, EVERY computer should have autocad on it. It’s a program that’s supposed to be a standard part of their image. The fact that only one computer on the entire campus does, and that you can’t use it past 7:00 pm because it’s locked in the TLC after their absurd closing time, seems to me to be a big problem that Tri C will likely continue to ignore. These computers used to be out in the open and in times past I remember working on projects here until 9 or 10 at night. Now, they close access to the computers around 7:00 Monday-Thursday and 2:00(!!!) on Friday and Saturday. This is the closest campus to my house, so it’d be nice if I could actually utilize the TLC. It is, after all, part of what I thought my tuition is paying for."
"Campus is clean, state of the art and staff is super helpful in going where I need. I wish I had went to Tri c from the start instead of going to a University First."
