"I was so impressed by this clinic! Overall an extremely efficient and caring staff as well as a calming hospital setup with private entrances and waiting rooms for cat and dog visitors. That made such a difference in the whole experience for me and our pup! He was new to German Village and gets a bit skittish around unfamiliar faces, but Dr. Smith and her team were so patient and kind towards him. They were thorough in checking him over and trying to obtain his past vet’s records, and they’re very easy to schedule with via their online portal. Very thankful for discovering this local spot!"

"I am so disappointed in this vet clinic. We have been going to GVVH for 6 months now and we have 6 animals so you’d think I would have at least one good experience with these people. Most recently, one of our doodles needed his car sickness medicine for a Thanksgiving road trip. We called in the medicine, and the lady on the phone was so rude. Told me they would not be able to fill his script because he doesn’t have his rabies shot. Which was given by the clinic themselves. I was able to call our old vet and they filled his medicine no problem. They even said it was ridiculous. Here is why I would not go to this vet clinic: - They can’t keep the same veterinarian. We saw a different vet every time we came in. - The front desk staff is so rude. Every time I came in they were eating and paying more attention to their lunch than checking us in. - Regardless of what you get done they charge you $75 to book your appointment. - After surgery no one will call to check in on your pet. Really sad coming from other offices that went above and beyond. - Expect to pay $1200 for your spay and at least $800 for neuter. Ridiculous. For the quality of care you receive. Overall, there are far more caring, affordable, and reliable vet clinics in the area that we will be moving to. Lastly, I called the office letting them know my concerns and told them I didn’t want to write a negative review but this was ridiculous. They lady didn’t care and asked if I wanted my records to switch vets so here we are."

"We love German Village Vet! All the staff are fantastic and our cats are always comfortable being there. They even have a “cats only” night! The doctors take time to explain everything and answer any questions or concerns we may have. Thankful to have such a good team caring for our “herd”. Thanks GMVH for everything! Highly recommend!"
