"Not a place I’d come back to for birth. I’m a teen mom and gave birth a month ago, the one nurse was pretty nice but the one who was there when I came in was rude. I told her I wanted a water birth and she never came in with it or asked for anything. I told her several times. I was in labor and she tried sending me home, my water broke in the hospital and she wanted send me home and say it was K Y jelly from checking my cervix. I had the most amazing midwife through them though!! But never again will I come back. I had the worst experience especially for my first birth!"
"I was admitted and transferred her from Massillon hospital ER . I got the worse care possible. The Nurse practitioner April Towner is one of the worst possible doctors I have ever dealt with . She didn't want to help me out cause of me being a recovering drug addict. I have been on methadone for 2 yr and have been clean... She didnt wan a figure out what was going on she just got me stable then discharged me . When I came to the ER my heart rate was 143 and my potassium was critical at a 2.5 but there nothing wrong with me . She drug tested me when there was no reason to and without my promission. And then decided to put in my file that I've been to 6 different hospital and that I was basically drug seeking... I only went to the ER 4 times for withdrawal symptoms from methadone cause I couldn't afford to get it. Hell at least I'm trying to stay clean and go to the ER and see about help... And the nurse wouldn't even help me either laid there in pain all night cause she refused to call the doctor and see about something else.... I got the worst treatment ever ..... All I brought up was I wasn't able to get my methadone cause I was in the ER and asked if they would dose me .. cause most hospitals do when your admitted.. NOW SHE HAS BASICALLY BLACK LISTED ME AT ALL AULTMAN HOSPITAL AND ER CAUSE THERE ALL GONNA LOOK BACK AT THAT AND NOT HELP ME. ITS SAID WHAT THIS WORLD IS COMING TO. SO KNOW I HAVE TO GO TO A GOOD DOCTOR TO DO THE JOB THAT SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO DO... DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL WHATEVER YOU DO!!!!"
"I was in the ER Saturday evening at approximately 5:30-or 6:00pm. My blood pressure was too high, I was having irregular heart beats, I had pressure in my head, and every time I moved the room would spin. I could not stand up. The Dr on duty came in and said people don't come to er with high blood pressure. He made it sound like I was pretending to be dizzy and proceeded to tell me to stand up. When I could not he said he would take scans..I was given a CT scan, blood work.I was hooked up to a heart monitor and given an ekg. No one bothered to tell me the results of the CT scan. I was told several times they were getting me a bed since I couldn't stand up. I spent the entire night in the ER on a gernny. I was released the following morning by the Nurse Practioner. I got a call shortly afterwards from her. Asking if anyone had gone over the CT scan results. She informed me that I had a stroke. That Dr is very incompetent.. I will never go to that hospital again."
"I would have left a one star if it wasn't for a night nurse by the name of either Erin or Eric orange hair short beard I believe. That man saved me from heart palpitations. The female night doctor just came in and gave me a additude and didn't give me ANY advice other then "See a doctor when you can". Do you know how booked appointments are? What if it happens sooner then I can get in? How can I prevent it? Eric/Erin told me to go the chiropractor because of a possible circulation problem due to the symptoms. I did, got lucky to get in and now my problems are gone. Thank you sir for actually doing your medical responsibility and duty. Not only solving the problem but give me knowledgable advice to prevent it from happening again. You gave me a glimpse of how good the medical world could and should be and for that I thank you..."
